THE COLD WIND hit Violet's face as she made her way towards the carriage, Alice following close behind. Today was the first Hogsmeade trip of the year, and it happened to be extremely cold. Violet wrapped her leather jacket tighter around herself as Alice grabbed her hand and dragged her towards the carriage that contained their friends. Violet smiled widely as she saw Lily who patted the seat next to her. Violet quickly climbed the carriage and took a seat next to her sister.

"Hey Lettie." Lily greeted her as she fixed the beanie on her head. "It's been a while Lils." Violet replied as she turned towards her other friends who were chatting excitedly. "We should go to Honeydukes first." Marlene gushed, as she clapped her gloved hands. Alice shook her head. "No, we should go get a butterbeer first."

"I need to get new quills first." announced Lily, making her decision. "How about we split up and go where we need to go?" suggested Violet.
Marlene nodded. "That's perfect. I'll go with Lily and Alice can go with Vi."
Alice smiled widely at her best friend as the carriages came to a halt. All four friends quickly made their way out of the carriages and went their separate ways. "We'll meet up at the Three Broomsticks!" Lily called out as she ran off with Marlene.
Violet linked arms with Alice as they made their way towards Honeydukes. They entered the warm store, taking in the smell of sweets.

Violet grinned as she grabbed a couple of chocolate frogs, filling her arms with different sweets as she walked around. As she turned the corner, she came in contact with a hard surface. "Bloody hell!" she cried as she came in contact with the floor, her sweets following in suit.

"Oh Merlin! I'm so sorry Violet, here let me help you up." Remus held out his hand, a look of worry crossing his features. Violet shook her head, her cheeks burning as she went and grabbed his hand. Remus pulled her up, before quickly picking up her sweets. "I'm so sorry." he repeated again.

Violet shook her head. "Don't worry about it. Accidents happen." She spoke, reaching out for her sweets. "Let me pay. After all, I did make you drop them." He offered, as he made his way towards the counter, Violet following behind.

Remus set the sweets down, and began to pull out money, but Violet stopped him. "No Remus. Let me. It is my candy after all." She pulled a couple of gallons and sickles out before handing them to the cashier. "At least let me buy you a butterbeer." He insisted. Violet looked up at him, and smiled slightly. "Alright, just a butterbeer." she told him as she looked across the store for Alice. Violet found her with Frank, and she made a motion towards Remus and the door.

Alice grinned and nodded her head, winking as Violet and Remus made their way out of the shop. The cold air hit Violet again, and she stepped closer towards Remus, in hope of warmth. They reached the Three Broomsticks and Violet quickly went to find a booth as Remus ordered the butterbeer. She found a booth at the very back, and took a seat as she waited for Remus.

Violet looked around and she found the rest of the Marauders across the pub, all goofing off and having butterbeer. She turned and saw as Remus was walking towards her, two butterbeers in hand. Before she could say anything, Sirius and James spotted Remus. "Moony! Come sit with us!" They called out.

Remus shook his head as he motioned towards Violet with his head and his friends got the message. "Oooh, Remus is on a date." sang Sirius as he smirked at Violet. The redhead blushed and adverted her gaze away from them, and towards the table. "Just use protection Moony. We don't need any kids running around." James grinned as he shooed his friend away.

Peter turned his head and looked between Violet and Remus. "You think they'll get together?" he asked his other two friends.James and Sirius looked at each other before nodding. "Oh, they'll do much more than just get together Wormtail."

Remus reached Violet and placed a butterbeer in front of her. "There you go my lady." he grinned as he took a seat across from her. "Thank you Rem." Violet grabbed the butterbeer, and took a sip.

Remus couldn't help but laugh when Violet put her drink down. "What's so funny?" she asked, raising an arched brow. "You have a little something on your lips." He told her, and she smirked "Why don't you take it off for me?" His cheeks flared and she giggled, a shade of pink covering her own cheeks. Violet quickly licked her lips, and wiped the rest off with her jacket. "There, all gone." she smiled.

He chuckled slightly, his face still red. He should've just kissed her. That would've gotten rid of the butterbeer. "So uh, are you going to the game next week?" He asked her, trying to make conversation. Quidditch had begun, meaning that James was stressed out, making sure there was practice everyday so that Gryffindor could take home the Quidditch Cup.  Her eyes lit up. "Of course, I am, why wouldn't I?"

Remus shrugged. "Just thought you would stay inside. It is going to be raining that day." He told her. Violet laughed. "Remus, I don't care if its snowing or its the end of the world, I'm going to the game. I want to be there when Gryffindor smashes the Slytherin team."

"Of course you would want to see that." He smiled as he finished his butterbeer. "Who wouldn't? The lions beating the snakes. Quite the game, don't you think?" she spoke excitedly. Violet loved the game of Quidditch, from the snitch to the quaffle, she was fascinated by the sport, yet never bothered to play.

"A very interesting game indeed." He agreed as he watched Violet drink the last bit of her Butterbeer. "How about we go back to the castle now?" Remus asked as he stood up. Violet grinned as she grabbed her gloves and stood up as well. "Yeah, lets go. You still owe me."

Remus stared at her in confusion. "Owe you what?" he asked as she stepped towards him. "You're so clueless Rem. You owe me a quick snog in a broom closet." She smirked, as she grabbed his hand. "And this time you aren't getting away, so here you go and chew. I do like sour apple." She handed him a piece of sour apple bubblegum before pulling him out of the pub.
