IT WAS FINALLY the day Remus Lupin dreaded the most. Tonight was going to be the full moon and he was not ready to go through pain once again. Once Violet figured out the date, she refused to leave him alone. "I'm not leaving you alone, I don't care what you say." Violet sternly told Remus as she forced him to lay down. "Nothing that you say will get me to leave."

Remus smiled weakly at her. "What if I said I didn't love you and that I was in love with Dorcas this whole time?" Violet gave him a look before smiling sweetly. "We both know that's not true, and besides, you wouldn't be allowed to be near the bitch. You're mine, not hers." Remus chuckled. "I'm yours if you're mine."

"That can be settled." Violet kissed his forehead as she sat next to his laying figure. "You're just not going to leave are you?" Remus asked her, turning onto his side to face her. "Nope. You're not feeling well and as your girlfriend, it's my duty to take care of you." she told him.  "I love you." Remus pulled her into a kiss.

"I love you too." Violet replied as soon as they pulled away. "I really hate days like these." Remus breathed out as he cuddled into her. "I know you do, baby. But there's nothing you can do." Violet ran her fingers through his hair. "There is no cure for lycanthropy but I know you'll get through this. You always do."

"But what if I hurt someone? What if I bite someone during the full moon, and it happens to be you? I couldn't live with myself if I hurt you and possibly ruined your life." Remus sat up and took Violet's hand into his. "I want to protect you from myself but I can't let you go because I'm selfish and I love you."

Violet cupped his face into her hands. "Remus, I love you. I know there's a risk that I could get bitten and become a werewolf myself, but I'll be willing to take the risk if I get to be with you." Remus quickly shook his head. "No, I'll make sure to always stay away from you during the full moon. I can't lose you."

"You won't, love. I'm right here and I'm not going to go anywhere. If it makes you feel any better, I'll stay away a couple of hours before you have to transform in order to calm your nerves." Violet gave him a smile as she gave his hand a squeeze. "That makes me feel a little better, but I'll still be cautious just in case. I wouldn't tolerate myself if I were to harm you in anyway." Remus wrapped his arms around her and brought her into his chest. "I love you and everything about you."

"I love you too dork. Now can we get down to business before any of the boys burst in here?"

The couple rushed to make themselves look presentable before any of their friends burst into the dorm room. Violet quickly fixed her shirt and made sure the buttons were button correctly before moving on to her messy hair and trying to hide her swollen lips. Remus quickly fixed his clothing and threw on a sweater along with a scarf to cover the amount of hickeys his girlfriend had left on him. For someone who felt sick, he was pretty quick to hide any evidence that he and Violet did anything of some sort. He turned around to look at his girlfriend who was too busy trying to fix her crazed hair and trying to make her lips not look swollen. Remus saw her pout before he chuckled and made his way towards her.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, placing a kiss on her temple. "I think you look beautiful. Now stop trying to fix what I messed up." She leaned into him and smiled. "I'm fixing what you messed up because I need to look presentable for when we get downstairs. I can't just walk into the common room looking like a mess." "Well you're my mess so it's acceptable."

Violet laughed. "Oh shush. Now come on, let's go. The boys are waiting for you." Remus' smile fell as he nodded. "It's almost time and I still have to go to the Hospital Wing and get my potion."   The pair walked downstairs towards the common room and greeted their friends. "Finally! I thought one of us would have to go up there and drag you out, Moony."

"Well I'm here now, aren't I?" Sirius rolled his eyes. "Prongs and I thought you guys were doing something, more like each other, and neither of us wanted to walk in on that." They both blushed before Violet quickly changed the subject. "Just take him to go get his potion from  Madame Pomfrey."

"Yes, mother." the two boys saluted her as they grabbed ahold of Remus. "Let's get going. We wouldn't want for you to transform right here in the common room." James spoke as he grabbed his invisibility cloak and pulled it over him and Sirius. "Kiss the girly goodbye so we can leave."

Violet placed a quick kiss on Remus' lips. "Please stay safe, and remember that I love you." Sirius groaned. "Oh, that's so gross. Couples." She gave him a glare even thought she couldn't see him. "Just wait until you get with Marlene." Remus grinned before kissing her forehead. "I love you too."

He moved over to the invisible boys and lifted up the cloak in order to get under it as well. They exited the Gryffindor tower and made their way towards the Hospital Wing. "Pst, Remus." Sirius whispered. "What now, Padfoot?"

"I hate to break it to you mate, but the scarf doesn't hide anything. We can still see the hickeys Violet left on you."
