AS THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS quickly approached, the students at Hogwarts could not wait and were rather excited to finally be going home. A certain group of boys were just counting down the days until they could finally spend time at James Potter's home.
"We have to throw a Christmas party of some sort, don't you agree Prongs?" Sirius Black asked as he and the rest of his friends sat in their dorm. James nodded eagerly. "The party has to be huge and we have to make sure we invite everyone in the Wizarding World." He grinned. "Except those greasy snakes."
Remus shook his head. "I think we should just have a get together. You know, just us and possibly invite the girls." The two boys turned their attention to their friend. "You're only suggesting that because you want to see our dear Violet." Sirius teased. Remus grinned. "Well I'm very sorry that I want to spend Christmas with my girlfriend and her friends, which may I say, includes Marlene and Lily."
Sirius and James looked at each other before quickly nodding. "Yeah, we're in. A small get together it is then." Remus chuckled at his friends. "The only issue is whether or not the girls have plans of some sort."
James shrugged. "I doubt it. I heard Alice speaking to Violet about spending an entire week at her place only because neither of them had anything to do during the holidays."
"So that means if Violet's not doing anything, neither is Lily which could possibly also mean that Marlene has no plans. Perfect. None of the girls have anything to do." Sirius concluded. "The only issue with that is that you all don't know whether they want to spend Christmas with us at all." Peter commented, earning a glare from the three boys.
"Oh, they'll want to spend Christmas with us, we're amazing. I mean, come on, how can they say no?"
---
"No, none of us want to spend Christmas with you all." Lily crossed her arms over her chest. "We all have plans." Sirius gave her a look. "Oh, really? So why don't you tell us your plans then, Evans?"
Lily rolled her eyes. "That is none of your concern. What we do is none of your business and I would greatly appreciated if it stayed that way." James shook his head. "It very much concerns us Lilyflower. We just want to know whats more important than spending Christmas with us."
She scoffed. "Everything is more important than having to spend Christmas with you all. If you don't already know, I don't exactly enjoy your presence and Remus just happens to be the only one I can tolerate."
"You're only saying that because Moony here is dating Violet." Sirius claimed as he threw an arm around James' shoulders. "Besides, you can't say you don't enjoy our presence. I mean, look at us. James and I are just too flawless for you."
"That's really great, Black. Why don't you and your boyfriend go be flawless somewhere else? Now, if you excuse me, I have things to do." Lily turned around and walked away. "Well talking to Evans, was a waste of our time. Now it's up to Moony to talk to our dear Violet." Sirius patted Remus' back before sending him off.
Remus walked away from his friends in search of Violet, who he still could not believe was his girlfriend. As he made his way around the castle, he knew she would be outside enjoying the freezing weather. Remus walked outside and spotted the strawberry blonde sitting by herself. He made his way over to her, a smile setting on his lips.
Violet felt the presence of someone else and she looked up. A wide smile crossed her lips as she saw Remus making his way towards her. "Hey, Rem." she greeted as he took a seat next to her. He smiled at her before placing a kiss on her temple. "Hello, beautiful." Violet leaned towards him and settled herself in his arms.
"What were you doing out here by yourself?" Remus asked. "I just needed some air, and I got distracted by the snow." Violet replied. "Let's go inside before you catch a cold or something worse." Remus told her as he grabbed her hand and pulled her inside before she could protest.
Once inside, Violet faced Remus and placed a kiss on his lips. "Can we go relax in the common room?" Remus nodded. "If that's what you want, love."
Violet smiled. "So we can cuddle?" "We can cuddle." Remus confirmed as they walked hand in hand towards the common room. Once they reached the common room, Remus gave the password before they both settled down on one of the couches. Violet curled up into Remus who brought her closer towards him.
"I need to ask you something." Remus spoke, twirling a piece of Violet's hair. "What is it?" Violet asked as she turned to face him. "Well the boys and I wanted to know if you and the rest of the girls wanted to spend Christmas with us?" Violet smiled and nodded. "Of course. I have nothing to do and neither does Alice, I'm just not sure if Lily or Marlene want to go thanks to the boyfriends who are hiding under James' invisibility cloak at this moment."
Remus turned towards the direction that Violet was pointing before the two boys gave themselves away by groaning. "How did you know we were here?" Sirius grumbled, yanking the cloak off of him and James. "I have my ways, Sirius." Violet grinned as she scooted closer to Remus to allow the boys some space to sit.
"You just said you had nothing to do, but Lily said you all had plans." James stated. Violet gave him a look. "You do know she isn't exactly fond of you all, so of course she would say that." Remus nodded in agreement. "She's right. Lily doesn't exactly like you, Prongs. Especially since you can't seem to leave her alone."
James pouted. "I don't leave her alone because she clearly does not get that I love her and that I want to call her my girlfriend." Violet laughed. "Well you can't seem to take no for an answer, and you're not really trying. You're pressuring into having her go out with you because of you don't stop asking her out."
"Am I really that bad?" asked James. Sirius threw a hand over James' shoulders. "Of course not, Prongs. You don't need Evans when you can have me. I mean, look at me, I'm the definition of perfection." Sirius cockily grinned as Violet rolled her eyes. "How about we make you more 'perfect', what do you say, Sirius?"
Sirius turned his attention to the strawberry blonde. "And how are you going to do that, Evans?" Violet smiled sweetly as she raised her wand. "Like this." she spoke before she hit him with the boogie bat hex .
