CHAPTER 6 BONDING

Saphs POV

"HOW ABOUT HERE SAPH?!?!"

'Must you be so loud Alex?'

"You should be used to her by now lil sis, you already know how loud Alex can get when excited."

We were currently setting up camp in the Tundra... the frozen life sector is horrible. And it'll be dark soon. Alex has currently found a smooth bit of land to actually camp in.

The mission had already been dealt with, another rip in the veil that separates the realms. We had actually planned on making it back to the portal in time, but the storm caught up to us, we had no choice but to set up camp.

"Hey knucklehead wheres your tent?!"

"I don't HAVE one Alex! I actually planned to be HOME by now! But YOU had to stop so many times we ran off schedule."

Alex made a face, and kept up making her camp, I already made my tent, but I wanted to be polite and stay out with them. Without the notice of them, I grew worried about Noir. What exactly would he do out here? He would freeze to death..... I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned.... but nobody was there....

'Mistress Saphir over here!', I blinked and turned my vision to the left, Atropus was standing three feet away, her scissors in her hands. Without anybody noticing she walked and tapped my spine and disappeared.

'If that boy doesnt find shelter... I'll have no choice but to end him... you must do something.'

With that her voice was gone... I blinked and spoke in his head,

'.... Noir,' he flinched and turned his head my way, a question in his expression, '... we may share a tent if you'd like.'

He blinked and I saw his jaw clench, then he gulped and nodded. Just then Alex turned tent in place,

"I would offer my tent but I can't stand you-"

"Saph will share with me, thanks anyway dummy!", she grimced but nodded and with a good night and the growing winds we retired to our tents.

I got in first, and in followed Noir, his pack on his back.

"... thank you saph..... "

'... n... no need... i... i w...wouldn't let y.. you freeze.'

"You okay over there?? Look kinda cold."

'Im... n.. no good in.. c..cold weathers...'

"Ahhh.... you're a tropical girl huh?..... close your eyes for me yeah?" I blinked and he smiled making me blush, "please lil sis.....", after a few seconds I nodded and closed my eyes.

I felt him shuffle closer, and settle behind me.

"... do you trust me?", I caught my breath.... I havent trusted anybody else in a very long time.... but parts of me wanted to believe... let go and trust someone else.

'.... yes....'

In seconds I felt warm, something wrapped around me, and my back pressed against his chest..... it felt... RIGHT... like I belonged there... I felt my body relax, and I opened my eyes to see silk like wings around me, and my heart started to beat frantically.

Noirs pov

'...yes...'

That yes... was like a spark, she looked so cold, her body so close to mine barely radiating any heat, and I just wanted to comfort her. For the first time in years I let my wings out, black bat looking wings.... Itami found them revolting so I never took them out. But I wanted for some reason to show Saph this side... all of me. I felt her gasp, heard her heart pick up and feared she might not like it.
