Saphirs POV
"You're leaving already...", I froze by the door. Turning I saw Noir leaning on the wall, looking at the floor.
"..yes... I must go home.... I can't stay... mother will worry." nodding he walked till he was close enough to touch me. I remembered what happened after Demeter showed up and stepped away. "I...Im sorry Noir."
With that my wings stretched and shot me into the sky.
'... I refuse to let fate mess with me again...'
my heart froze harder in my chest. I heard it and felt it....

Landing on my balcony I strode into my room.... I haven't been here in so long.... missions and now with the incident in Noirs house. The darkness of my room was a welcoming one.... calming... I changed into better clothing and let my hair loose. It fell in waves down to my thighs, and when it fell it released the smell of slight cologne....
'Noir...', I sighed and looked at myself, my skin looked healthier... eyes looked brighter too... it may just be me.... sigh... I don't know anymore. Turning I strode out of my room, finding my way into the kitchen. Mother was cooking and she looked up and beamed at my entrance,
"Sweetie.. I missed you...", with a warm hug she settled down and looked at me expectantly, "... I felt your dark aura when you entered tell me... what bothers you sweetie?", I took a deep breath and looked down at my boots.
'... Demeter sent word.... Sentinels are on approach mother.... Meiwakuna is with them.'
I heard her breath catch, and looked up to see worry swim inside her golden eyes. Nodding she stood,
"I will have a word with your Father then.... in the mean time stay close and alert."
'Yes mother...'
After an initial conversation we parted ways, me to my room and mother to work. I decided today I would stay home, I could go to school tomorrow.
As I laid in bed contemplating my life I couldn't help but realize I needed to figure out a way to keep Noir away... He was getting too involved in my life, and the closer he got to my heart the harder it would be to pull away...
' I wont let this destroy me again...'

(AUTHORS NOTE
For the next few parts, this story shifted in focus... Alex will be spending more time around Saphir somehow, but also will be developing her own side of the story. Saphir will be sort of missing for most of these next parts since Meiwakuna's appearance has caused a change in her.
More will be explained in the continuation of the story, I hope you enjoy the direction it goes, and I hope I don't have to make one of these anytime soon...

ALEX'S POV
Saphir and Noir came back after that weird week with the storm. In the month that followed she distanced herself more and more. She trained me, and after my last exam she passed me,
'I have nothing else to teach you Alex... From here on you'll have to practice with your abilities on your own.'
"You're kidding Saph, its only been what? a month or two since I started training?"
