CHAPTER 19: ALEXS NEW ABILITY AND THE SEARCH FOR SAPHIR PART 3(FILLER)

Alex's POV

She's so annoying in this form I swear.

"Hey human child... Make me an apple." I glaced back at Noir and his package. Saph was still being carried due to her body being malnourished,

"Did you hear me? I said I need an apple."

"And I can't make you one so shut it." I've been trying hard to be patient but she's just so annoying. Thanatos warned me before he left, apparently Ikari is the more demanding side of my best friend and teacher.

"But I'm hungry, and I need one..... Noir tell her to make me an apple!" Noir made it even worse, he would just smirk and shake his head, he thought It was funny.

"I can't force her, were almost home. Maybe while your mom checks you over I can go and hunt for you."

"You would hunt for me? Thank you!" And this is where I tuned them off.

They were going back and forth just so lovey it was gross. We really were almost to Saphirs house, but their relationship made me miss James....

'Maybe I can call him when I get home...'

"You reek of sadness and longing cut it out."

Damn it all she's so annoying!!

"Why don't you just shut up! Jesus you're aggravating!" She had a smug look on her face,

"I win." I blinked in surprise,

"Excuse me? What do you mean you win?"

"I bet saph I could get you angry before we got home.... I win." And then she just laid her head on Noirs shoulder.

I turned around dumb founded, leaving Noir to cuddle his precious girlfriend... I was still aggravated but now confused....

"How does it happen miss Winchester?"

"Hm? what do you mean Alex?" She was sitting by saphs bed, her daughter in a deep sleep. Noir had gone hunting for saph.... And we were just sitting here waiting.

"The inner thing?... I go into different levels of power... But I don't have a splitting personality... How does it happen?" she smiled and looked at saph...

"Its caused by her parentage.... Its mine and Ryuus fault.... But I loved him, and ... Love is the purest form of benevolence. He's good... No matter what he does... There's good in there...."

"So she was born this way?", she was making no sense,

"When saphir was born... Her wings were as white as mine. Little white puffs of down... She could make an ogre smile.... The devil himself would smile... Saphir would make any room light up.... She still does.. But not like she used to....we discovered her wings would grow black feathers every birthday.... Until one day... It consumed her...." she took a breath and then sat straighter. "Sentinel children can't see their wings until maturity... So I hid her wings in runes on her back... Her grandmother is the head of clan of neko... And it seems her blood passed to saphir... A year after I bound her wings, sure enough she sprouted a set of ears... Saphirs body was so infused with power... It turned catastrophic. And it split her mind..... At an early age saphir had to learn how to bind her inner, and leave it in obscurity. Now we fear her abilities are fighting each other... Causing her to have episodes... .... Its all my fault... If I had been a better mother... This... Would have never happened."
