After morning call and breakfast, we have to go to History class, ugh. The professor is the same one as the studies teacher, Mr Bolifo. Not again! He's not serious at all and the classes are boring. I wonder what we will learn in history class, and what does that have to do anything about what else we've learned, in the other classes.
Class starts,
"Okay kids, today we are going to go over the earliest signs of the types of powers you have, then we are going to play a game to make sure that you pay attention in class and that you remember everything."
Everyone says,
"Oooooookkkkkkkaaaaaaaaaay"
He looks at us with big disappointment and starts the class,
"The first signs..."
Oh gosh, I already knew this was going to be an extremely boring class, from the very beginning.... Suddenly, I realize that I'm not sitting next to Cecilia. I'm sitting next to Taj and Zayne, and Cecelia is sitting next to Zayne and Julia! Whaaaaaaaaat? But I just ignore this, and try and concentrate, but it fails.
Everyone else seems bored, either doodling or chit chatting with their friends.
After about fifteen minutes, I give up, completely. I stop listening and join the conversation in between Cecelia and Julia. I'm fine now, compared to yesterday's emotions. Victoria's departure, Cecelia half crying. I giggle, just by thinking about some hilarious moment. Both Cecelia and Julia turn to me in surprise, they don't know why I'm laughing about and I remind them about that weird moment. They also start laughing. Wow, Julia's laugh is crazy, and so loud! Everyone notices her and stares. Uh oh, I don't like to be noticed, not that much. Then, they all start laughing. Everybody joins and history class becomes 'laugh-out-loud-and-weirdly' class. Julia is the only one who isn't laughing, but I can tell by her expression that she isn't sad either. She wants to laugh really hard, and she ends up doing that. I knew it.
Mr Bolifo seems confused. He was busy writing down stupid random dates on the board. He is staring at Julia, who blushes all of a sudden. She's in trouble, I think. Everybody goes silent, no voice is heard, except,
"Did you start the interruption-"
We start laughing again. He's trying to be serious and all, but it clearly isn't working. He doesn't even know Julia's name.
Next class is Herbs class. In that class, we briefly learn the names of a few completely random plants, for whatever use they are picked for. I think pemoiminta was something for, I don't know, healing a cough? All I really remember is that delicious smelled it had. Kind of a minty, but sweet smell. During the class, I noticed that I was wearing long sleeves. After a long while of hesitation, I slip a leaf under my left sleeve. After that, the teacher picks up all the ones that we did not use during the experiment. He doesn't notice that one of them is missing. Ten minutes after, I realize that what I've done is bad, very bad. But, I have no choice but to keep it, I'll throw it away after class. If I put it back on the table again, the professor will know that I was hiding something, that leaf. I really don't want to risk it, I won't ever again.
Anyway, after that class, we have break.
