Chapter Thirty-Three Cecelia

I was astounded! Racheal and Julia had been living near us this entire time! Even though it took a few minutes to get through past tensions, I was glad to see them again! So after a few minutes of conversation , we were all caught up. Emily, Rachel, Julia are I come up with a plan to stay connected: we would build a road from our house to their house. But right before we leave, I realize that they have no furniture, besides some moss and leaves. That's when I remember some history lesson I had before I turned 12, before getting taken.The teacher said that before there was money, people would trade things, and that means that we can trade too. So I say thoughtfully :
"Hey guys, do you guys want any furniture?"
"Yes!"Julia and Rachel say in unison.
Then I offer: "Well, we kinda need animals, to make cheese and milk and stuff, and I saw that you guys have a few cows outside, so I was thinking maybe what we could do is make a trade. We can make you a table, chairs, and two bed frames in exchange for a cow."
After a few seconds of consultation, Rachel and Julia say:
"Yes, that's fine with us if it is with you."
So Emily and I discuss, and we agree that it is a good idea.
"We agree, and we'll get you everything by the end of the week. Can you guys do the same for us?"
"Sure!"
Says Julia. Then, we wave goodbye, and we both transform and fly/run back home. The first thing Emily says to me when we get home is:
"We need to build a wall around the meadow. If Rachel and Julia are near us, that means that other people will be too, and they probably won't be as friendly. "
"I guess that's I good idea."I agree.
"So, first we can build the outside of it out of logs, and then we can put stone in front of that to fortify it?"I say.
"That's a good idea. I'll start on the wood, and can you collect the stone and the m-"Then she stops.
"Shoot"She says.
"We have no mortar to hold the wall together."
That's when what the lady said to me comes back, the one from my dream.
"The bearer of water dissipated, leaving his soul to the first that have found him. But a bearer of wind and a bearer of earth found him, so his soul split in half and gave half to both."I finally understood that!
"Yes, we do have mortar!"I say.
"What?"Emily replies.
"Are you crazy? We don't have the power to control water, so we can't get mortar."
"Yes we do, we can control water!"I say.
"No we can't..."She replies.
"Just listen. When I had that dream about the lady, that vision, she said: " The bearer of water dissipated, leaving his soul to the first that have found him. But a bearer of wind and a bearer of earth found him, so his soul split in half and gave half to both. "That means that when Sherman died, his powers left his body, and the first person to find his body would be able to have  his powers, but since we both found his body together, we each got half of his powers!"
After a pause, and contemplation,Emily said:
"That makes sense!" Emily says.
"Oh my gosh, that's great!" She continues.
"That's a huge discovery! I can't wait to test it out and make some mortar! We need to get started right now!"
