While Emily summons enough stones for our house, I send Sherman over to get some clay mortar to stick together the stones for the house, while I continue to smooth out the ground for the house. After a few minutes, Sherman is back, and then Emily is done. They start making the house, while I start collecting leaves and wood for the roof of the house. By the time I am done, it's almost night fall. When I arrive, I see that they are done building the frame of the house, and that Emily had made a hole for a front door and a back door. But we don't have time for making doors today, we have to concentrate on the roof. I transform and fly up to the top of the house, and then I levitate the wood over to the correct place on the roof. Then I levitate some of the left-over mortar and glue the wood firmly to the outline of the house. After that is done, I used the small amount of mortar left to secure Palm leaves to the roof, which will help keep out the rain. By then, the stars are out and it's time to sleep... We'll finish it in the morning. I fly back down, and Emily and I high five. Then Emily summons some moss for us to sleep on, and we settle down to sleep.
I am woken up by Emily. She is shaking me awake, and I open my eyes groggily. She is standing over me, and she says:
"You're awake!"
"Yea...!"
I reply.
"We should finish the house today...."
She continues....
"Alright then." I say. I sit up, and roll off of the moss, and stand up. I dust off my clothes, and we walk out together. Sherman is already outside, coating the house with some more mortar. Sherman greets us by saying:
"Good morning my fellow workers!"
I groan at how pathetic he is, and I start on work.Today we are building an overhang like thing:
It looks something like this:
(Well, only the roof, it's not that fancy...!)
Emily and Sherman work on this while I work on the floor and interior design and doors of our house. The first thing I do is to have Emily make two doors, and then I have her make hinges, and mold them into the wall. Then, after testing the doors, I make two small moss carpets, and I put one infront of the front door and one infront of the back door. The, I collect pine needles and make a carpet of those inside. Not only is it soft, but it emits a good smell. Then, for furniture, I instruct Emily on making three beds, four stools, one table, and three chests. While Emily and I are doing that, Sherman is finishing up the overhang. When we are all done, we help Sherman make six bowls, six forks, and six spoons. Then, we set it all up inside. When we are done with everything, I levitate outside and up, and I look at our creation. It's a one story, large house with a stone base and a wooden roof with palm leaves dripping off, with a wood and stone overhang. Next to the overhang is the stream, Sherman is fishing right now, and Emily is making two more rods. It's a really pretty scene, but I miss Earth... even though this place reminds me so much of earth....
