Chapter Twenty-three Cecelia

After transformation class, we have lunch again. I decide to go unhealthy, and grab a burger and fries and a coke. Yum! I sit down and enjoy my meal while I chat with everyone. Emily is doing really good in all her classes, and Taj and Zayne somehow figured out how to get their grades. I have an A+ in every class, except basic maths and O.A, whatever that is, because we haven't had that yet. Emily has almost the same grades as me, she said. I eat quickly, and go back to my room for a while, and I write, and look at the view from the balcony, and strange as it might sound, I re-decorate my room. Now, I have a little white living room with a fireplace, my bed, and bedside table near the balcony doors, and in the bathroom, I don't have a shower, I have a hanging shower. It's a big glass ball  that I step into. There's a little ledge, and then there's a bath tub, with shelves, etc... (This is all in the ball). Then, the bell rings, and I head to herbs class after re-applying my makeup, and re-curling my hair. In herbs class, we don't do much. We learn which herbs we use to dull pain, and we learn how to block blasts from put opposite elements in defense class, and I accidentally create this weird black wind. It created this moaning sound, I don't know what it is... I'll have to ask someone... Then, we have the one class we haven't had before. O.A. Before we have this class, we are given 10 minutes to change into our PE uniforms. I do this, put up my hair and re do my makeup differently, and then we are actually showed out of the building by Mrs. Kimmel. We are walked over to an area in the woods. There, Mrs. Kimmel leaves us. No one is there. I am freaking out. What's going on? All of a sudden, a bush starts shaking. Everyone gets a ball of their element in their hands. The bush goes still. A ball of wind appears in my hand when all of a sudden, a small man jumps out from the bush and says:
"Boo!"
We all scream and run around.
"Now now everyone, that's no way to react. I'm your Outdoor Activities teacher, Kevin Feeloon. Please come back guys, seriously. "
We all come back, no longer scared. He then proceeds to explain what we do in outdoor activities class. Basically, he will test what we learned this week. We are put in obstacle courses that will test our powers and based on our strength and skill, we'll be graded. He divides up all the elements and we are supposed to complete our courses. I don't go first, I go 3rd, so I have some idea how to do it. The first obstacle for me is to fly through a hoop of fire. Ooh... This will be hard. After transforming, I take a running start, mentally prepare myself and jump. I flap my wings, hard, really hard, and then I'm flying. I have no idea how to maneuver, and so when I arrive at the ring of fire, I stop flapping and point my wings down. I instantly drop, and when I get to the right level, I stick my wings out again and then I fly the hoop. After that, I have to go down onto the ground and stop a series of mini earthquakes. I manage to complete those, and then I have one more thing to do before I'm done. I half to ride a cloud above a pool of lava that the fire people are creating. I safely create a cloud, and I somehow manage not to die. After everyone is done, our scores are compared. Emily gets the #1 score for nature, some girl named Emmy gets top for fire, and neither water nor air have been revealed yet. Water is revealed and some girl Amysthyst wins. Now it's air... I wonder who wins. It takes me a second to calculate what the scoreboard says... I won! I got the #1 score out of all the airs in class! Omg! What? I didn't do well at all! Well, not in my book. Just then, Mrs. Kimmel arrives, and we are escorted back.
"I can't believe we both won!"
Emily says.
"Me neither.."
I reply.
"Well I guess paying a little attention in class can go a long way.."
Emily continues.
"Yeah!"
I agree.
Next, we have transformation class, where we learn how to be a little more steady at flying, etc... Basically what we just figured out in O.A. class. For me, how to fly. I am now able to control where I'm going, and I can kind of turn... Then we have dinner! Yay! I'm so hungry after O.A. I get bread, a salad, some rice, and a bit of pork. Emily and I leave dinner early, and Emily comes over to my place and helps me put up some posters and stuff. I now have a few posters on the wall, a little jewelry box on my bedside table, some monogrammed towels that say my name, a lot of makeup remover in a box in a drawer in the bathroom, etc.. Then I come over to Emily's place, and I help her decorate. Then we hang out with Zayne and Taj and Julia and play Truth or Dare (with the machine). Then, I go to bed when the "go to bed" announcement is announced, but after I have taken a shower, removed my makeup, and written in my journal. I know I haven't actually showed you guys what I write in my journal, so here it is:

Today was pretty fun. I had a good morning, a pretty good afternoon, and I re-decorated my room. It's pretty fun here, with truth or dare machines, boys, photo booths and more. I'm a little annoyed with Emily though, because sometimes she seems to forget that I lost my parents. I guess it's kind of hard for someone who's had a good parent-child relationship for their entire life to imagine having a bad one... But I don't understand her missing home, so I guess we both have to respect each other... One thing I really miss is music. Speaking of kind of music, I made this weird black wind today. When it appeared, it made a howling noise... It was kind of creepy... It reminded me of the sounds that the demons from The Mortal Instruments Series made.

I write stuff like that every night, except ten times longer. Then I drift off to sleep, dreaming of butterflies, chocolate and kisses.
