I'd dressed in simple clothing consisting of a collared shirt and plain trousers and kept my makeup to a minimum. There was a slight niggling in the back of my mind that warned me about looking too out of place, and I'd decided to listen to the paranoia and made myself looking as boring as possible.

Just as Stacey had said, the front desk was easy to find as soon as I walked through the doors, a big arrow on the wall pointed through and I found a woman sitting on one of the hard, blue chairs provided by the receptionist, hands gripping a clipboard as she scanned the paper.

At the sound of the door swinging open, she looked up at me expectantly.

"Bryony Spencer?" She asked, raising a thin eyebrow. I nodded at her, feeling my entire body rush with sparks of excitement. Stacey stood up quickly, her pin-striped, grey blazer hugging her tightly as she hurried towards me.

"Delightful! If you'd follow me," she said, taking the lead hurriedly, almost as if she had somewhere to go. We walked through a hallway before reaching an elevator. Stacey pressed the button and the doors whooshed open not a moment later, and we stepped inside.

It was a lot cleaner than I expected - most apartments were dingy and not cleaned very often, so this was a nice surprise. Not that I would've cared either way; I'm here for him, not for the room.

My intestines suddenly felt as if they'd been inverted when I realized that he was here, and soon I'd be living next to him. I wasn't sure as to which room he was in, though I was certain that he was on level three, which is the exact floor we were heading to, as many fans who lived in the area had seen him go up there.

"And here's the room," Stacey announced, lifting her arm for a moment to gesture to the small living area as she unlocked the door. There was a plain, cream sofa with a coffee table in front of it, and a door that opened to reveal a kitchen. It was average size - not too big, not too small, but perfect. And then across from the kitchen was a set of stairs which lead to the bathroom and two bedrooms, though I was certain only one would be occupied. Perhaps the other could be converted into an office of sorts...

Stacey talked throughout the entire tour, being extremely chatty and sociable as if it would make the apartment seem any better. Really, I didn't care all that much for how it looked and was already dead certain that I was going to start renting it out the second my parents coughed up the money for it. They had enough money to buy gold of the Heaven's - they'd be able to do it. They'd do anything for their precious little princess, right?

"I love it," I announced, cutting her short of her little speech about the stairway railing.

"Really? Splendid," she said, scribbling something down.

"Great. When can we get started?"

Though it was tough to haggle, as some older couple had suddenly become interested, I finally won the apartment over and I was set to start moving my stuff in later on that week. Liz, although it took her a little coaxing at first, agreed with helping me to move out. She moved boxes with me and even drove me there, which was nice.

"You know," I huffed, hauling a box into the room whilst Liz worked on tearing the tape off of another one. "I'm really glad you decided to come around."

"I don't understand this, but I'm just going with it," she shook her head, "if that's what you mean."

"You'll get it soon," I reassured her, nodding my head. "You'll have to come over tomorrow night so I can tell you how it went. You know: meeting up with him and everything."

"How can you be so sure-"

"I'm sure." I cut in.

Liz stared at me with an unbroken, although confused, look in her eye that pleaded for me to spill out the lies she'd like to convince herself were the truth. Maybe she was coming to terms with just how... abnormal I was, and she was hoping that I'd tell her 'oh, this was all a joke,' or 'no, I'm not stalking him, who does that?' or something along those lines.

"What's so special about him anyway?" She questioned, turning away to pull out the vases that were encased with rolls of bubble wrap. "He seems pretty ordinary."

I sighed and held a hand over my chest, "he's the most amazing human being I've ever seen in my entire life. He's just so... perfect, I physically can't comprehend how free of flaw he is. It's like he's a goddamn angel or something."

"Right," she decided. "Come on- we still have a bunch to bring up. Let's go."

"Wait- leave those boxes here," I asked Liz, noticing that she had pulled up the last box against her chest with a slight grimace on her face at the weight as I held one of my own.

She frowned but lowered the box to the floor with a huff. "Why?"

"I just... have a little plan," I smiled softly. "You can go now. Thanks so much for the help; you'll have to come over and I can cook us something nice to eat."

"Sounds good," Liz decided, before turning and climbing into her car. She rolled the window down and smiled at me, turning her head to watch me wave for a moment before she focused on the road and drove away.

Though the box was heavy and put strain on top of the weight already in my arms, I managed to get both boxes up to level three. He would be here soon (over the past few weeks of me checking into the apartments and leaving again, I've noticed that he leaves every Wednesday afternoon. Shopping, maybe?) and I'd make it seem like much more of a struggle to catch his attention.

I'd peered out of the apartment window and felt a sly grin tug on my lips as the certain, green-haired love of my life appeared on the pavement outside. Though his hands were empty, which brought me to the conclusion that he wasn't shopping, so what on Earth was he up to every Wednesday? I'd have to look into it. I mean, someone's gotta keep tabs on him, and his fangirls weren't as good as they all made out to be. 'Oh, I saw him on [insert road name here] road!' yeah, nice one, @seanmclovelin.

The elevator dinged and I looked for a moment, silently thanking him for staring down so intently at his phone- though he wouldn't be interested in that when he finally got to know me -so that I could prepare myself.

Putting on a somewhat distressed facade to hide the inner screams, I struggled with the boxes before letting them fall to my feet where I let out a curse.

"Hey, are you okay?"

And then my heart dropped.
