Three days later .

August's POV

I was sitting on my porch smoking a blunt then i see Alvae pulling up. He got out the car and dapped me up and took a seat next to me. I passed him the blunt and he took two puffs.

"Whats good my nigga?" Alvae asked looked beat down.

"Nothing- chillin. Whats up?" i asked.

"Mannn, i just found out i got Eva ass pregnant. How the hell ima tell Aaliyah this? She might die. She gone kill me then Eva then she gone die!" Alvae said taking one more puff then passing it back to me.

"Oh shit- fool. You sure its yours?" i asked.

"Yeah. Her ass aint been with nobody. I think i broke that hoe virginity."

"You didnt wrap your shit up? See thats where you messed up at fool."

"She told me she was on the pill. I wasnt thinking straight."

"No matter what these hoes tell you, use that wrap- dawg! Cant be trusting these hoes out here now days!" i said taking my last puff of the blunt then flicking it.

"But anyway- whats been up with you and my sister, Dartez?" Alvae asked.

Alvae and Dartez real cool. They call each other brother n sister. I trust Alvae. I know he couldnt do no slick shit with my girl so i let all that ride.

"We been goin steady." i answered.

"You hitting that my nigga?" he asked smirking at me, devilish.

I laughed then straightened up. "Worried bout the wrong thing, my nigga! What you need to be worring about is your dick gonna fall off today, tomorrow or NOW since you fucked Eva friendly pussy RAW." i said laughing hard as hell at him.

"Man fuck you. I promise you my shit straight. At least im fucking something. You aint even smelled the pussy."

"Ima let you think that. I got my name tatted in that as young boy." i said fooling around with Alvae.

"Lying ass. My sister aint giving nun up. Stop fronting on her."

"Ooookay. What ever you say, ima let you think it. I know whats up and so do Dartez!" i said. We both laughed and talked a lil bit more.

See, Alvae my dawg. Closes homie i got. I know he wouldnt fuck over me in no type of way. From money, to hoes or anything else.

Dartez's POV

I was chilling at the park listening to the waves in the water. As i was sitting on the bench, this man that looks old enough to be my dad comes and sits next to me.

I was thinking about getting up and leaving but i didnt want to seem rude. He looked towards me and smiled.

"You here alone?" he asked.

I nodded and looked back towards the water.

"I always come here to clear my mind or when things just going through my head. Today makes another year my baby girl been gone." the man said.

My eyes grew wide and i looked deep into his eyes! Am i crazy or is this my dad?! The man ive been missing more than half of my life!

"Donte? i mean DAD! Its me- Dartez!" i yelled.

He was silent at first then he pulled me into a deep hug. I cried tears of joy into his shoulder. This was unbelievable! After moving thousands of miles away from my dad, i finally reunited with him.

We stood to our feet and pulled out the hug. My dad smiles widely at me and i did the same.

"Baby, i missed him!" he said kissing my forehead.

"I missed you too, dad." i said then wipped away my tears.

"I bet your wondering wheres your sister..." he said taking me by my hand.

"Yes! Where's Deedy?" i shouted in excitement. I havent seen her in forever. I missed her dearly.

"Deedy, its someone whos been dying to see you." he said as we approached Deedy. Deedy turned around and het eyes landed straight on me.

She ran into my arms and hugged me tightly. I pulled away and we stared into each others eyes.

"Oh my gosh, Deedy i cant believe its you!"

"I cant believe its you too." Said Deedy. Reuniting with my sister after about 9 years felt great!

"How about we take this family gathering to my place." Dad said putting his hands on my shoulders and leading us to the car. We got in and left. Dad instantly started asking questions.

"I know your wondering a lot, Dartez. But your mother and I were going through a lot at the time. No telling what she probably stored in your head but im here to tell you the truth." dad said focusing on the road as he drove.

"Your mother wasnt really your mother, first off. She was just there for you guys since day 1. Your real mother is here in Oakland. Ready to meet the both of you. The reason i kept this from you guys because you two were way too young. Then you guys separated and i wanted to tell you guys at once. But now that you both are here, im telling you the truth."

"If she wasnt our mom, than who is?" i asked holding Deedy's hand.

"Her names Nita. Shes wonderful. You guys are going to love---"

"If shes wonderful, then why did she leave us when we were just babies?" Deedy said upset, cutting dad's sentence short.

"She was on pills really bad. She left because she said she was an unfit mother. It hurted me really bad to see i was loosing the love of my life. Shortly after, i met Destiny." dad said as he pulled in the yard and turned the engine off.

We got out and i looked around at the outside of the house. It was HUGE! Its about the same size as August's place but bigger! My dad really lives nice!

"This your place, dad?" i asked still standing frozen in one spot. He pushed me into the house and nodded.

The house was even nicer on the inside. Everything was in place, it smelled clean and everything. Woah!

I sat on the sofa next to Deedy and dad sat across from us.

"When can we meet Nita..i mean our mom. Is she still on drugs?" Deedy asked. I could tell she was upset about everything.

Deedy was just as lost in the situation as i was. We didnt have a clue that Destiny wasn't our mother. But why did she take me from my dad if i wasn't her child?

"She clean now. We been talking about getting back together but i just had to find Dartez first. Shes living nice and everything. You two dont have any idea what shes been through the past 9 years since you two been gone." dad said. I saw tears forming in the back of his eyes.

I got up and went and sat in his lap and hugged him around his neck.

"Dad dont cry. You got the both of us now so everything will be okay." i said comforting him.
