At dinner ....

August's POV

A waitress seated us and we ordered. As we were waiting for our food, Dartez played in her phone. I stared at her just thinking. I guess she felt me looking at her and she looked up at me then put her phone down.

"Well hello August. May i help you?" Dartez said bein funny.

"Im just checking up on how beautiful you really are." i said truthfully.

She giggled. "Oh is that right?" she said as the waitress put our food on the table and we dug in.

We talked a lil more then left. We rode for another 30 minutes then i parked the car. I was taking her someone special that i had set up. We held hands and walked on this trail.

"August, we been walking for 2 minutes. Where we going in the woods?" she asked tired.

"Were here." i said then Dartez looked up. It was a huge lake with a blanket set out. She smiled then we sat together.

"Its really simple but nice. I really appreciate this August. No ones ever done this for me." she said staring into my eyes smilling.

"Im glad to be the first." i said then layed back on the blanket. Dartez did the same and we looked up at the beautiful sky.

"Can you find the big dipper?" she asked. I started scanning the sky but there was no luck.

"Nope. Can you?" i asked.

"Yes. Its right there!" she pointed and i looked the direction of her finger.

"You got some good eyes, girl." i said surprised. She laughed then i turned over to her. She looked at me and we stared into each other's eyes.

"You willing to take whatever comes with me?" i asked.

"What do you mean?"

"All my flaws, things ive done in the past and what ever might happen in the future...You think you can handle it?" i questioned her.

"Maybe so. I just ask for loyalty and im willing to do whatever but ive been messed over and played dirty sooo much. I just dont know who to trus---"

"You can trust me, though. Let me make up for what the last dude did. I know your trust all fucked up but every nigga aint the same." i stated.

"I know." she said turning her head away from me but i took my finger and turned her back into my direction. I placed a kiss on her forehead, then lips for about 5 seconds then i kissed her cheek.

"You can trust me ma. I promise i wont do you dirty. I got you." i said as she laid her head on my shoulder.

Yeah i understand i was saying all types of shit about how im not looking for love but Dartez makes me feel a certain way. Im not in love but im seriously feeling her. Giving this lil relationship shit a try might not be bad, its just the commitment part thats my problem. But i think ill be able to be faithful to Dartez.
