Dartez's POV

August and I were chilling on his sofa watching "Girl Code." He hates this show. I was laying on his chest between his legs while he was playing in my hair.

"Will i ever meet your parents?" he asked. My heart kinda skipped a beat.

This is like his third time asking about my parents or wanting to meet them. Every time i just dodge the question. I still havent told him how my real dad lives in Atlanta and hes a big time drug lord and my mom just aint right.

"Will i meet your parents?" i asked.

"Yea. Pretty soon. My mom will be happy to meet you."

"what if she dont like me?" i asked scared of being rejected by the most important person ever seems like.

"she gone love you! Especially Asia"

"Who's Asia?" i asked turning around to face him.

"My lil sister. She 9 years old. In three more day shes gonna be 10 and were all going somewhere for her birthday. Maybe you can come?"

"I would love to come." i said then turned back around...letting my mind roam then i remembered something.

"August who is Chelsea ?" i asked. He was silent for awhile then he finally answered me.

"Huh?" he said like he aint know what i was talking about. Now that right there made me mad!

"Chelsea ...The time you and he walked all in school together!" I said sitting up from him and folding my arms. Lets see if he'll lie about it.

"She nobody. I was just with her to- to make you mad." he said honestly as can be.

"Why?" i asked kinda hurt.

"I mean- why not? You was doin yo thang so i wanted to get back at you" he said making me upset and sad.

"You still upset about her?" August asked. Thats when my face expression changed.

"Im not mad about HER. Im upset that you would do something so reckless just to get back at me. Maybe next time-"

"It wont be a next time." August said cutting my sentence off. I hope hes telling the truth. Im starting to gain feelings for him.

"Let me take you to dinner tomorrow night." he said out of the blue!

"What?"

"Let me take-"

"No i heard you, i just dont think its a good idea because its gonna be a school night n everything. Just like tonight." i said checking my watch and noticing it was getting late.

"Stay here tonight. Ill make sure you get to school." he said pulling me close to him but i moved away.

"I cant. I have to get home..."

"And why is that?" he said licking his lips.

"I cant stay here..i just cant. Can you take me home- no, ill walk." i said getting up from the sofa and putting my jacket back on.

"Ill drop you off, im not gonna let you walk." he said putting on his last shoe and standing up.

At first i was hesitant about it all but i guess so. He just cant be SEEN dropping me off by my step dad.
