Dartez's POV
Next morning ...
I woke up and seen my dad and mom sitting there smiling at me as I slept. I rubbed my eyes and sat up.
"Goodmorning sleepy head. Guess what day it is?" my mom asked.
"Hump day?" I asked. My dad laughed and shook his head no.
"It's your release day. Buzz your nurse." my mom said. And I did just that.
Getting out of this hospital was the best thing yet. I just wish August was here right now though.
"Okay but we're August?"
"We called but didn't get an answer. Your sister is at a friends house." said dad.
After that the nurse came in and gave me medicine, my clothes and a pin to sign off my discharge papers. Best feeling ever! My mom changed me into my pink and gold "Pretty Hustle" shirt, my white short, and my pink and gold sandals. Yes, my mom's the best
My dad rolled me down to the car and my mom opened the car down and they helped me in.
"Where you wanna eat baby?" dad asked from the front seat.
"We can go to my favorite restaurant Macaroni Grill. They sale Italian food!"
"We can go there besides, I love some Italian food." my dad said.
He hit a U turn and drove to the restaurant. In about 10 minutes we pulled up there. My mom helped me out and we walked into the restaurant.
"Hi, what can I do for you?" asked the nice, perky waitress.
"Table for three please." my mom said. The waitress showed up to our table and took our orders on the drinks and appetizers.
"I'll like a sweet tea." I said.
"Rootbeer." my mom said.
"And a lemonade for me." said dad.
"Can you get us mozzarella sticks as the appetizers?" my mom asked.
"I sure can." The waitress said and left.
"We should have called Deedy up here. I wanted to see her."
"What about your little boyfriend, I thought you wanted to see him." Said dad.
"Yeah, I did but he and I aren't on good terms so I'll rather see Deedy or at least my best friend Aaliyah. I haven't heard from her none!"
"Awe, you'll be able to see them both after this. Call them up and tell them to come over to the house. I'll need some assistance with you anyway since you got this cast on ya leg now." my mom said
"Both of y'all stop complaining." My dad interrupted with
"You hush the hell up Dante. No one is complaining." mom joked. At this time, the waitress was back with our drinks and what not.
"Ready to order?" she said getting ready to write.
"Yeah we are. I'll like the steak and loaded potato." Dad said.
"Can I get the Italian shrimp pasta?" my mom said.
"I'll like the Italian pepperoni pizza, please." I said.
"Will that be all for you guys?"
"Yes." we all said in union.
We talked a bit more and laughed. I'm happy I'm getting to spend this time with my parents. But if my sister could have been here everything would of been perfect!
