We will never be together, whether we date now or later. What I'm basically saying is, in the end, we won't be together. Throughout our entire lives we will always have those feelings for each other, the feeling no one else can replace. We'll still be running around in circles, even when we're older and have jobs.
My best friend told me that today, and I agreed with her. Me and him. . . we just don't stay together, we don't stick. We love each other, we flirt, we fool around all the time, but we will never be serious. Not us. We just aren't like that you know?
And when we are older and do have jobs he'll come see all my screenings for my movies and binge watch all the shows I appear in. I'll fly to all of his games, no matter what sport he's playing or what team it's for. We'll probably have more than one nights stands, and we'll call each other during college at night when our roommates are sleeping.
We'll always be there for each other. . . but in the end, we'll always be apart. Even if I love him and he loves me, and I'm sure it'll be forever, but we won't say the words I dream of every night. "I do" and I really, really want to.
I know he'd never hurt me, not intentionally, because he knows what I've been through. How much damage it caused me and how it affected my way of looking at the world, and people. I know he cares. I know he always will. And I know with everything in my body and soul that I will too, but I don't know. It's just one of those things you know?
