It's been a little over an hour since the party started, and I'm currently downstairs, watching the TV. Alyssa is in the kitchen, talking to Joe about something. "So, Sherman, what do you think about Alyssa?" Herman asks. I smile and reply "Hey, she's pretty cute. Maybe she likes me." Herman laughs, stands up, and says "Maybe she does like you, Sherman. You just gotta play the cards right." Nodding, I stand up, and think. Does Alyssa like me? Wait, what if she likes one of the other Teenagers? Then, I hear Jimmy exclaim "Hey, guys! Get into the kitchen! It's time to cut the cake!" "Oh, boy! It's cake time!" Herman happily says as he makes his way to the kitchen.

The cake has been cut, and I'm about to get myself a slice of cake. As I place my cake slice on the plate, I say "Hey, guys, I'll be upstairs in Herman's room watching TV if you need me." Billy nods his head, and Alyssa slowly nods, too. Alyssa looks kinda puzzled. Is she okay? After I get my cake slice, I make my way upstairs to Herman's room, sit down on his couch, and turn on the TV. Slowly, I begin to eat my cake. As I'm eating, Alyssa enters the room and sits down on the couch next to me. She sets her plate, which has a cake slice on it, onto the table. "Hey, Alyssa, you should tell me about yourself. You seem very interesting," I say. Then, Alyssa looks at me and says "Well, Sherman, I don't know how to say it, but... I'm not from this era." Wait, what?

Confused, I set my plate onto the table, look at Alyssa, and say "Explain to me what you mean when you say you're not from this era, Alyssa." "Well, Sherman, I'm from the future- the year 2015, to be specific. I'm an eighteen-year-old college freshman, and I'm also from New York. One day, I was in my dorm room, I had a headache, and I blacked out. Then, I woke up here, in 1958, in the Gee Records building, and I'll probably never be able to go back to 2015," Alyssa says as she begins crying. "Alyssa, honey, don't cry! Tell me what this "future" is like," I say, rubbing Alyssa's shoulder. Alyssa says "The future is okay. This little thing I hold sometimes is one of the many ways a phone looks in the future." Hmm... Interesting.

"Alyssa, look up at me, love," I say. Alyssa looks up at me, and I say "Close your eyes." Then, Alyssa closes her eyes. Slowly, I place my lips onto Alyssa's, kissing her and savoring the moment. She kisses me back, runs her hands through my hair, and says "You're perfection, Sherman." I break the kiss, playfully kiss Alyssa's neck, and say "I know. Hey, darling, do you wanna stay with me tonight?" "Sure. Now, Sherman, let's get back downstairs before the others wonder what we're doing!" Alyssa cheerily replies. So, Alyssa's not from this era. That just makes her all the more interesting.
