The Teenagers and I, along with our new friend Alyssa, are at the local diner. As we wait for our food, Alyssa asks "So, who's who out of everyone here, Jimmy?" Jimmy grins and replies, "This is Sherman Garnes, our bass singer, and the guy sitting next to him is our baritone singer, Joe Negroni. Our lead singer, Billy Lobrano, is standing at the jukebox with another group-mate, Herman Santiago. Like we acknowledged earlier, today is Joe's eighteenth birthday!" "Ah! Happy birthday, Joe!" Alyssa says, smiling. Joe simply smiles and says "Thanks. It's a pleasure to meet you, Alyssa." "You're welcome. I find it cool how four of the Teenagers are eighteen, the lead singer is nineteen, but you all will be teenagers at heart. That's what Jimmy told me," Alyssa responds. I chuckle and say "That's the truth. Also, it's nice to meet you! You're very cute." Grinning, Alyssa blushes and says "Aww, thanks, Sherman!" "Hey, Alyssa, I want to ask you something. Do you want to go to Herman's house with me tonight? The other Teenagers and I will be having my eighteenth birthday party there, and I was wondering if you'd like to go," Joe says, with a hint of shyness in his voice. "Sure! I'd like it," Alyssa replies.
A few hours later, I'm at my house, trying to decide what to wear to the party. I need to hurry up and decide- Billy and Jimmy will be here any minute, I think as I search through my closet. Then, I grab a pair of blue jeans and toss them onto the bed. Yeah, I better wear those. I look at my shirt and ponder whether to change into my short-sleeve blue polo shirt. "Yeah, I should change shirts," I say to myself as I take off my white T-shirt, toss it into the closet, and put on the polo shirt. After that, I take off my pants and change into the jeans that are on my bed. As I put on my Converse sneakers, I think of Alyssa. Holy fuck, I can't wait to see her at the party. Speedily, I rush downstairs to the living room so I can wait for Jimmy and Billy to pick me up.
Fifteen minutes later, I'm in Billy's car, and Jimmy, Billy, and I are headed to Herman's house for Joe's birthday party. Billy says "Sherman, Alyssa is pretty cute! You two should totally start dating." "Billy, please. They literally just met two hours ago," Jimmy responds, rolling his eyes. "Alyssa is pretty cute. I'll have to talk to her more at the party," I say, rubbing my hands together. Jimmy says "Good, 'cause we're at Herman's house now." I look out the window, look at Herman's house, and smile. Ooh, I can't wait to see Alyssa!
