The Teenagers, Alyssa, and I are at the local pancake place. We are currently eating either pancakes or waffles, and as we eat, we make small talk with each other. Alyssa is sitting next to Joe, and I can see how happy Joe looks. Does Joe know that Alyssa and I did "it" in his room? Let's hope not. Alyssa looks over at a nearby table, and I can tell she is intently listening to the conversation happening between the two girls at the table. One of the girls, who has a pixie haircut, says "So, Jocelynn, are you gonna listen in to the latest episode of the radio show, Pirate's Island, later today?" The other girl, who I presume is Jocelynn, responds "You know I am, Rin! What's the host's name, though? I forgot it!" "His name is Andrew Harley, and he's cool. Now, let's get back to those rumors," the other girl, who must be Rin, replies. Jocelynn says "I heard Joe Negroni of the Teenagers has a girlfriend." Joe's eyes widen, and he looks at me. Alyssa rolls her eyes and whispers "They'll probably mention you" to me. Then, like Alyssa said, Rin brings up a rumor she had heard of me having a girlfriend. Oh, great.
Alyssa pipes up, responding "I'm not in a relationship with either Joe or Sherman quite yet." Rin raises an eyebrow and says "Ah, okay! By the way, I'm Rin, and that's my friend Jocelynn! We're both big fans of the Teenagers!" At this point, Billy chimes in, saying "Well girls, I've got some big news for you. Tomorrow, the Teenagers will begin their third film appearance on the new Alan Freed-produced film, Rock and Roll Time." Rin gleefully says "Yay! When will the film be released?" "Probably either sometime next month or in November," Jimmy replies. I'm ready for this entire film thing!
Later that afternoon, Alyssa, Jimmy, Herman, and I are at my house. Suddenly, the phone rings, and Jimmy says "I'll get it!" A few minutes later, Jimmy says "You want her to be in the movie, too? Oh, and you want her to sing lead on the remake of "Love Put Me Out of My Head" and share lead vocals with me on the other song, "Everything Wonderful?" Alright, I'll let her know!" Jimmy then hangs up, saying "Hey, Alyssa! Get ready to make your first appearance on the big screen! Alan Freed, the movie producer, wants you to appear with us in Rock and Roll Time!" "No way! I'm not even a member of the Teenagers, but I'll be singing with you in this movie!" Alyssa cheerily and gleefully exclaims. Herman says "This will be amazing!" Herman is so damn right. Even though Alyssa isn't even an official member of the Teenagers, Alan Freed wants her to sing with us in Rock and Roll Time. This will be exciting!
