First day of school, Demi was dreading it, this year she changed herself, well she was not everyone's favourite unless "Nerdy Demi" was a cool name, she was known as the, "not pretty, clever girl with red hair".

This year she changed, dying her hair to brown and having a different clothing sense.

Waking to her brother shaking her, she got out of bed and locked him out of the room, still sleepy she went to her wardrobe and picked her outfit, this included: A pink pastel skirt, white crop top and white heels, she then had a shower and wore the clothes picked.

Knowing she was late, she still curled her hair and put it half up and half down, she applied make-up and grabbed what she needed for class, she wore a bracelet to cover her bare wrist.

Grabbing her school bag and phone she walked out of her room and went downstairs, she saw Dylan sitting on a chair waiting for her.

" Woah you....you look different, well the clothing is, like the oversized jumpers and leggings where did they go baby sis?"

" People change and I want this year to be different Don't worry im the same, also don't call me baby sis, you're two minutes older, anyway can we go we're already late"

Standing up he walked to the door and walked out, Demi followed and sat inside, the school isn't that far so they made it in time.

Dylan got out first and told her to do the same, she did, she stood knowing there would be no one waiting for her, Dylan went with his friends and she stood there staring at the entrance of the school building.

" Come on Demi we've been through this for these past years how hard can this year be?" She mumbled under her breath.

Keeping her head up, she walked towards the door, with confidence she tried opening the door, but the door hit her making her stumble.

Looking up it was Aiden, he apologized for what he did and walked away with his hands around Tina.

She saw the time, she had atleast ten minutes so she went to her locker, everyone standing in the well-lit corridor looked at her, either shocked by the quick change of clothing or they didn't want to see her in the first place.

Putting the locker code she opened it, her book were there, everything was there only there was a note, a paper note folded over, she hid herself and grabbed the note, folding it open she read:

Be careful, pretty girls like you don't last for a long time in the popular group,not like you will be in it but you know,  Don't catch feelings for anyone, no one can be trusted..... - Unknown

Annoyed she ripped the paper and threw it in the locker and slammed the locker door, making her hair fly back, she starting walking away.

" Calm down love, what's got into you" someone said from behind.

She slowed down and turned  meeting Aiden by himself, he tilted his head like a puppy who didn't understand anything.

" Nothing just a note I found its not any different, I've been having this for years" she took a sharp breath in.

" Oh, by the way Don't blame me im not into those things"  he said looking down at his phone.

" Then what do you do?" she asked.

" Well I'll do you anytime" he whispered in her ears.

She pushed him away, turned and walked off.

" I was joking, you look nice anyway," he said while walking with  her to class.

Both had the same class, so they walked together, they were late, and both walked into class, the teacher stopped both of them right at the door.

" Where did you two love birds go?, you're late." he asked.

" Well..." Demi said but was cut of by the teacher.

" I Don't want any excuses from you two, go take a seat and catch up if you can and at that you two have detention"

Avoiding everyones glares she walked to the table at the back, and took a seat she placed her bag on the floor and took the books needed for Biology and listened, she was joined by Aiden, he took a seat next to her and took his books out.

" As you may know we have a project to do on something you learned, you will the present it to the class, everyone will work in pairs"

Demi, looked at Allison and gave the look the teacher continued

" I will put you in pairs,turn to the person next  to you, you have your partner also this is due next week, if you want a good grade make the project better, now for the rest of the lesson talk to your partner about what you will do and who will do what" .With that, he sat down on his desk and marked papers from previous tests.

Demi faced Aiden, who now was hiding his phone under the desk and texting Tina.

" You know I can see you looking at my phone, anyway we have to work together so you come round mine one day I come round yours okay?" he asked looking at her.

Not thinking she nodded her head up and down.

" Now you can do your own thing while I talk to Tina" he said

" Wait I thought you weren't going out?" she questioned him.

" Well we made up, anyway this has nothing to do with you so mind your own business"

Looking away she caught Allison galre, she got a text:

Allison:
Meet me outside after class

Demi:
Sure

With that she put her phone away and read the notes she had, she tried hard to hate Aiden but Don't we all fall for the things that are bad for us, we fall for the ones who will never notice us while ignoring the people who actually like us for who we are, well the truth hurts.

The bell went, end of period one, Demi got up and took her belongings, she waited for Allison and both made there way down the corridor to there next class: History.

Two doors away, she was stopped by Allison screaming her name from behind.

" DEMI LOOK OUT!!!"
