Chapter 28

She awoke to the sound of someone knocking at her bedroom door.

"Who is it?" She shouted

"It's me Aiden" the voice from the other side replied.

" Come in" Demi shouted.

The door to her room opened, and Aiden entered cautiously, he looked around her room and laid his eyes on her.

"How may I help?" She questioned him.

"I heard the devil was making deals, and I came here to make a deal with you, yeah I was wondering-" Demi cut him off before he can say anything.

"Everything comes with a price" she said while she went to get her clothes to change into.

"I was joking, You're coming to school so I came to pick you up that's all, I can wait outside while you get dressed" he said while opening the door to her room.

"No, I'll get changed in the bathroom, have a seat" she said while closing the door to the bathroom.

She changed into her clothes, did her hair and makeup and walked out.

Aiden stood up, awaiting for Demi. Both walked out of the room, and went and took a seat in the living room.

They waited for Dylan, Demi always thought he worse then a girl, taking hours on hours to get dressed. After, two minutes or so, Dylan walked downstairs.

They all made their way to the car, Aiden drove all of them to school, Demi got out first, she left the boys by themselves.

She walked through deserted corridor, don't get me wrong, the school was full, but people weren't awake.

She made her way to the locker, she took some books out and closed the locker door.

She was minding her own business when someone lifted her from behind, she shrieked while slapping the person, well tried to.

She was placed on the floor, turning she was saw Jack, he wore a grin, and hugged her.

This gesture surprised her.

"You're okay, I heard what happened" he said while he held her shoulders.

"I'm alive" she replied with sarcasm.

" I can see" he said while he pushed his hair back.

"Hey Aiden, just the person I need" she said while waving at him, Aiden turned towards her looking confused, Demi wore a forced smile and walked with him.

" I'll talk to you later Jack, sorry" she said.

He was talking to someone else, and that someone was Tina, he simply nodded and by the looks of it, he really didn't want Tina there.

Demi and Aiden walked to class and took a seat at the back.

"While you were gone, I was the know it all, this is why I need you, so people can ask you questions and let me be" he stated

Before Demi could say anything, Tina made her way towards them, and sat on their desk.

"I see Demi has finally decided to come back, I heard about what happened, you really do like the attention, Demi you really don't need to go that far" she spat those words like venom.
