Chapter 12 Capture the flag Part 2

With that capture the flag began, it wasn't the oh oops tag you're it, it was war.

Taking there time, all found a place to hide, after two minutes Allison shouted.

"The flag is located on a tree, on the other side of this place, good luck, and well Don't get hurt"

Debating if she should run or stay and wait till everyone does,she took a breath and started running, everyone knew she was running, the sound of the leaves under her feet gave that out.

After a while, everyone run, between her jogging she laughed for no reason, everyone joined in with the laughter, all where at the same pace, few times they would run to the trees and join them again.

As darkness settled they had to finish the game, finding the flag was the hard bit but actually getting the bandana from the others where harder.

"Just go for it Demi" she whispered under her breath.

" Whats that Demi, Already giving up, hand me the bandana then" Aiden said breathlessy running with Demi.

" In your dreams, lover boy" she shouted as she picked up the speed.

Stopping, Aiden shouted back "Seriously? I told you not to call me that" noticing he was behind he too picked up the speed.

They all where now on the other side of the woods, and all saw the flag, which was tied on to a trunk, the highest point, on a very high tree.

" Demi you stay here and try to take the bandana from them" Sam whispered to her.

She nodded back and watched him climb the tree and disappearing within the leaves, she notcied Allison behind him.

" This is going to be a long night" Demi whispered to herself while walking around.

" I know right" Aiden replied

" Oh wow, might aswell hand the bandana, you know I won't take it from you" she shouted taking small steps back.

" I know, but I want to win fighting" he simply stated.

" Great, here it goes" she shouted and ran the opposite direction, trying to hide away from him.

Before she could, Aiden grabbed her ankle causing her to fall to the ground face flat.

Ouch

With all her might she struggled to get up, few punches where givin to make sure he didn't take her bandana.

All wore there bandanas on there head, meaning they would probably lose some stands of hair, ooops.

Standing freely, she run with all her might, but then tripped over air.

It takes skills to do that.

Knowing she's failed she stood, and rested her hands on her knees and took deep breaths.

" Demi, you're going down" Aiden shouted from behind.

Standing up straight she ran, she tried, and actually went far away from Aiden.

" Katniss how the hell did you survive the games?" She whispered to herself.

Stopping, she listened to the footsteps made by Aiden, jumping up and down to gain energy, she let out a war cry, and ran straight to the shape of his body, seeing nothing she felt for his hair, feeling the bandana, she tried pulling it of but Aiden being to strong stood up and pushed her, giving up she laid there, Aiden went on the ground and hovered over her.

Where is this going? Damn

He leaned in only inches from her face, and rested his hands on her face, Demi, thinking he was going to something else closed her eyes, but oh well he didn't do that, oh no, he felt the bandana in his cold hands and untied it, standing up he took it with him, and ran.

" Well I don't have any chance of surviving the games" she shouted at him.

Rolling her eyes, with audicity she followed the shadow of Aiden. After a long time, she made it to the tree which "had the Flag", she saw Aiden resting against the tree trunk,looking tired, she too followed and sat next to him, being careful not to wake him up she rested her head against the tree.

Rustling leaves woke both up, the noice was caused by Sam and Allison getting down the tree, during sleep, both had rested there heads on each other, ignoring that they stood and waited for them to join. After everyone was together they made there way back.

" We won by the way" Aiden said while holding up the bandana which once belonged to Demi.

" Yeah he did" she said looking down.

" So we all pack, be ready so we can leave" Allison said smiling while walking of with Sam.

Walking in silence Aiden and Demi followed, breaking the awkward silence Aiden spoke.

" Well done, for actually trying to win, many girls I know would probably cry about breaking there nails or something, not alot are like that but some are"

" I understand, and Thank You? Anyway I enjoyed the trip, how about you?" She asked.

" Well it was fun, all of us together, school starts in a couple days, we only have this year and next year, then we are all gone right?"

Avoiding speaking she stayed silence till they made to the camp. By the time they got there everything was packed even all there stuff was neatly on a pile, only thing left was to place everything in there bag, finishing that they placed all there belongings in the back of the car, and sat inside, this time Aiden did not avoid her, through out the whole journey they talked on and on about them being friends as kids, and how everything changed, they all talked and when they reached home no one wanted to go.

Knowing she was late already, Demi hurried and got her stuff, Aiden too did that, Allison and Sam drove off leaving the two by themselves, offering a hand to help, Aiden brought her things to her room, and with that he left as quick as he could, before she could fall asleep she got a text:

Unknown: Sleep well...

Ignoring the text as always she placed her head on the pillow and fell asleep.
