Chapter 32

She awoke and smiled at him, he tried his best to smile but his mind was racing, it could have not happened, how did he even end up here?

She cracked a grin and sat up, for his surprise she still had a clothes on, but he was still confused.

"Nothing happened" she said raising her eyebrows and laughing.

"You were drunk, and came to my room, and apologised, I put you to bed, that's all, I won't take advantage of you when you're drunk" she simply said and shrugged her shoulders.

"You sure?"

"Yes"

"Nothing happened?"

"Nothing!!"

"Okay, okay, I believe you, it was just I remember lashing out on you and then walking away, then I was in my room or car and I woke up here, I thought something happened" he stated smirking at her.

"One day it will happen, don't get your hopes up though" she said winking at him.

"Yeah right, don't we have school today?" He questioned furrowing his eyebrows and looking up to her.

She stared at him intently with her warm chocolate coloured eyes and wore a smile, she shook her head.

"We don't have school, they gave us a day off, because we are traumatised by the things that occurred yesterday, so I have the whole day to myself, you can join me while I read and watch random tv shows or you could go home and be alone" she beamed at him, and leaned to grab a book.

She sat there reading it, then looked up to see him staring at her.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing"

"Really?"

"Yes"

"Sure"

"Yep"

"I was just admiring your beauty" he replied wearing a cheeky grin.

"Yeah right?" She laughed throwing a pillow at his face.

"Hey, I was telling the truth" he replied while hitting her back.

"You know we should go out somewhere, let's go to the woods we haven't been there for a long time, I remember playing hide and seek there" she replied beaming at him, she placed her book on the bed, she grabbed her coat and walked out of her room, not even waiting for him.

With no choice he ran after her, hand in hand they walked the winding road which lead to the forest in which they would spend time,after all, they do deserve some peace and quiet.

They were surrounded by tall trees, hiding them from civilisation, light beams surrounded them, sunlight hit her eyes, making it appear lighter in colour, almost as if the colour was drained away.

They sat against a tree, looking up at the Autumn coloured leaves, a chilly breeze surrounded them, making them shiver, but they ignored it and stared helplessly at their surroundings, they were at peace, the rustling of leaves filled their ears.

"Shouldn't we go back,its getting late" Aiden voiced out.

"Is Aiden scared" Demi questioned.

"Demi!!" He shouted while rolling his eyes.

"Aiden" Demi mocked while standing up

"Maybe we should go, care to join mother" Demi pleaded while holding a hand to Aiden, she helped him up and both started walking.
