PLEASE LISTEN TO THE SONGHe couldn't believe what he had done, he had helped him, helped him do this to her, he said it was a prank, a small revenge he didn't know it will end up like this, he never wanted to hurt the one he loved.
It had been a week, Demi finally woke, everyone had feared she wouldn't wake up, but she did, he stood their with guilt eating away at his timid soul, he had given himself up, he had to, or else the ones he loved wouldn't get a happy ending.
They arrested him on the scene, saying he helped with the attempt of murder, of course he did, saying no would be lies.
He sat on the cold marble, resting his head against his knees, knowing he did wrong, it was hours till someone bailed him out, they let him go, all chargers where gone, confusion settled in, he wore his coat and walked out, it was like being free, locked up in a small space was too much.
He stood outside, the cold wind biting at his skin, could it get worse?
He noticed a car, parked in front of him, it was Demi her self and Dylan, his heart lifted, seeing her sitting mundane as possible, looking at him, smiling at him not knowing what he had done, blood was on his hands, but it was he who could only see this.
Breathing the cold air he walked towards the car, she came out the car and embraced him in a hug, she winced once or twice, but she still hugged him,as if he was an angel that fell from heaven, but he wasn't he was the angel which dragged its way through hell, only a he knew that.
"Demi, you're okay, I didn't think you- don't ever leave me" he whispered.
She laughed against his shoulders and held him, he placed a kiss against her lips, seemed like forever until they broke apart.
She smiled at him, but he could see the sadness and pain written against her chiselled face, she was perfect, he was scared to touch her or hold her, as if he could hurt her more.
This wasn't his game, he was apart of it, a doll, being manipulated, he regretted everything he had done.
The wind stung his eyes, causing him to look like he was crying, they stood there in the cold, in front, like kids, how they would stand together looking at the clouds, upon the horizon thinking of a future, this was the future, and boy did he fuck his future up.
He played the game and failed, like the person he was, he couldn't admit it, he helped, wanting to get revenge, but she didn't do anything, how!?, she doesn't remember anything, like the innocent child, asking why the women cried over losing the one she loved or the child who knows neither wrong or right.
He held her fragile hands, and looked at her eyes, her innocent eyes bore into his guilt filled ones, he was drowning in a viscous guilt, the pain etched it's way throughout his body, it was in his bloodstream, he was the coward, a label that was right.
Demi smiled at him, "We should go home, get in" she motioned her hands to the other side, she had got in and closed the car door.
Home?
Will home be home when you can't even feel human?
Dylan sat on the driving seat, looking upon the dark sky, he smiled as he got in the passengers seat.
He couldn't take it anymore, he wanted to scream, cry till he couldn't no more, drag knives against his skin, watch the blood fall to the ground, feed her and let him leave this world, he couldn't, he was apart of this, he knew this would happen, he felt the foreboding sense saying yes to get revenge, it was supposed to be a laugh, play a prank and see Demi laugh, but it wasn't possible, they lost people for this.
