Chapter 17

First Week of the new school year was over. Saturday, a day where Demi just sits there reading,revising reading again, you get the message. Sitting there bored,she placed her book in front of her and checked her phone.

She had a message, she didn't notice it due to the fact her phone was silent. It was from Unknown, it read:

Unknown: Meet me tonight at 7 in the woods, I'll tell you exactly where I'll be, when you get there, be there or you'll regret it, have fun, p.s Don't bring anyone.

Rolling her eyes, she switched off her phone and ignored the message. At the back of her mind she was scared, What if something happened? Should she really go? Is this just a senior she knows playing a game?

The time was Eleven she had nothing to do, everything was up to date, she knew Alison was with Sam, Dylan was with his friends, Jack and Aiden...why was she even thinking of them, they're so irrelevant, but are they?

She walked out of her room and went to the upstairs balcony, she rested her arm on the edge and looked out. This balcony faced the road, she could just about see Aiden's house from here, she rested her head on her arm and looked, this was the same road where Allison, Aiden, Dylan and her would play all summer, not worrying about anything, no matter how many times they fell out they will forgive and continue playing but now things are different forgiveness is like a foreign language no one seems to know or understand it.

Wanting to break from the memories she walked back inside and went to her room. She met Dylan sitting on her bed, examining his knuckles, it was blooded almost as if he drove it into a wall, or someone, that someone could have been Aiden. Panic raising she ran up to Dylan and knelt down taking his hands and seeing it.

" What happened? What did you do? Tell me" She shouted her voice sightly shaking.

" Nothing, well something happened at the mall and everyone broke into a fight, and I must of hit the boy and accidentally hit something hard, it'll get better anyway" he drew his hand back and stood up, Demi stood up too and smiled.

" Oh Aiden was outside looking for you, told him you went out with Alison, you don't mind right, like you still hate him and all,right?" he asked.

" Well Yeah- Thanks" she said pushing the loose strands of hair behind her ear.

" Anyway I have to study, so catch you later" he shouted and closed the door behind him.

But I still like him though, and I know I shouldn't

"Wait What" a voice from her window came

She turned to see Aiden climbing down the window, he landed on the floor straightening his hoodie.

She must of said it out loud, anyway what is doing here?

" Well im here cause we have a project to write about, im writing you do the research and then we swap" he said almost knowing what she thought of.

" Yeah sure" she nodded

Aiden sat on the bed and checked his phone, Demi went and took the books needed and her MacBook and sat beside him.

They both worked for hours swapping around the task. Around five everything was packed up and Aiden got ready to go.

" I need to go somewhere with my friends, so I'll come tomorrow" with that he climbed over the window and disappeared.
