Summer went by so quickly, spending most of her time indoors, reading, studying she only had one week left, knowing she should do something fun, she picked her phone from her desk, located next to her bed and texted Allison, knowing she's with her new boyfriend- Sam. Who also was Aidens friend.

Demi: Hey do you have plans today or for the week?

....

Allison: Hiya well yes we're planning to go camping together maybe you can join.

...

Demi: I would love to and when are you going?

...

Allison: we're going to leave in a bit maybe we can pick you up, be ready though see you in an hour

Demi: yeah sure bye

Placing her phone back on her desk she got up and went to take a shower, after she packed all the things needed for camping, and clothes needed she sat down, it had been a long time since she went and this brought back all the fun times she had together as a family and also with friends.

Making sure she had everything she got a text, telling her to come outside, before walking out of the bedroom door she grabbed a book: The Hunger Games and went downstairs, before going she said bye to her parents and not forgetting her brother she too said bye to him.

Walking towards the car, she placed her belongings in the back and made her way to the car door, noticing Allison in the front,legs folded she waved, opening the door she noticed someone else, that someone was Aiden, rolling her eyes, she sat in and closed the door, nodding her head up to show a sign " I can see you but let me act like I didn't", he too nodded and went back to what he was doing, and that was staring at his lockscreen acting like he was busy doing something.

Demi's phone went off, it was a text from Allison which read: " Sorry I didn't mention Aiden, oops we can't do anything nothing now"

With that the car started moving. Great.

Few hours later they got there, to an abandoned woods, filled with trees creating shadows of things people feared, right in middle there was a square with a fire emiting light and heat. With night falling they set the tents, noticing that there was only two tents she questioned Allison.

"Hey where....where will I sleep? If you can't see there's only two tents"

" Well you have to share, Sam and I are, just be with Aiden" She replied looking down at her now dirty timberlands.

"Thats you and Sam, you're going out with him, me no going out with Aiden, you understand?"

"You wish you did" Allison mumbled under her breath.

" No, okay leave it, it will be like the good old times, When we had trips like this"

Saying that she picked her stuff and dropped them all inside the tent, noticing Aiden, she nodded he nodded back, he had set everything out neatly and walked out, all alone Demi sent her stuff leaving a good space between Aidens sleeping bag.

Coldness seeping into the tent while darkness settled, she shivered, grabbing her once belonged to Aiden jumper, she put it on. Sighing she ducked and walked out, being greeted to a warm fire set in the middle, she noticed the logs placed around it, being used as seats.

Walking towards Allison she sat down and stared at the fire, seeing  the flames dancing and cracking, she looked up and saw the figure of Aiden, through the flames, staring back at her, it wasn't the "oh hi love", it was a cold stare, almost hurting her soul, not like she has one but she looked away, away to the woods filled with trees something you find all the time.

Not knowing what to do, she twisted her body towards Allison and started a conversation:

"So what are we going to do?" She asked

" Well we can toast marshmallows and eat them and go to sleep the real fun begins tomorrow" She smiled while saying those words.

" Guys come on marshmallow time" Allison shouted while handing sticks

Nice

" Well this is more real" She said while handing them out with the marshmallow already stuck to the end.

All together they pointed the sticks to the open flame, waiting for it to melt, well in the end they had nothing after burning all of it, bothering not to try again they gave up and walked to their tents, saying goodnight they all walked into it and  zipped it up.

Ignoring that Aiden was standing there, she pulled the jumper over her head and went to sleep.

She could make out the faint noice of Aiden whispering "Goodnight", being nice, she too replied "Goodnight" and layed there listening to the noises made by the night creatures. Falling asleep her phone went off, digging through her bag she pulled it out and read the message.

Unknown: Be careful Demi, never know whats resting in the dark, anything, anyone can get you, death can be silent, done properly no one will know what happened, don't worry enjoy your trip, for now....

Fear running through her veins, she turned to see Aiden laying silenty, someone's playing with her, with that she got out of her sleeping bag and pulled it right next to Aidens and forced herself to sleep, but a shadow walked passed the tent and disspered into the darkness, closing her eyes shut she forced herself to sleep.
