Light beams decorated the space within the tent, sunlight hitting her eyes caused her to blink, bringing her hands to cover, she sat up, she checked her phone, which read 6:27 am she was still next to Aiden, who now layed there asleep smiling.

Knowing she will be in trouble if seen by him she got out of her sleeping bag and got dressed into her skinny jeans and black crop top, knowing its cold she wore a Nike windbreaker, before going out she grabbed her hair and made a loose braid which rested on her right shoulder, she also grabbed her black Nike trainers and went outside.

Sitting down on the damp log, she took in her surrounding, everything was hidden by the trees, fog was settling down, allowing one or two beams of light into the space, she could see the dust dancing within,the sky now was becoming blue, but there was still darkness, she created clouds of vapor each time she breathed the cold air out, which sent her shivers, causing her to hug her body, sounds of flattering wings echoed throughout the woods, closing her eyes she allowed herself to hear the sounds of nature, the sound of water hitting rocks, the sounds of the fire still cracking from the leftover wood.

She slowly opened her eyes, first it was blurry but her vison became clear, she was now facing Aiden, who wore the face of fascination, he smiled at her, biting his lips he looked away. He was resting against the log opposite her, wearing a washed out blue jeans, comfy looking greyish-blue jumper with a beanie.

He too was looking at the surroundings he was in.

"Beautiful isn't?" he said looking at the woods.

"Yeah it is" she replied looking at his face. Eyes flickering she turned before he could catch her looking.

" Should we explore, maybe leave the two love birds alone, and go into the woods?" he questioned.

Thinking hard she replied, "sure why not, make sure we find a way out of the woods"

" I see what you did there, and yeah we will" he said while standing up waiting for Demi to join, she too stood up and started walking, Aiden followed.

Going further into the woods, she asked him a question.

" Hey, do you like me?, I mean as a friend"

" yeah I do, do you" he answered back.

" yeah, anyway how come you didn't bring Tina?" she asked with curiosity.

" Well long story short, I dumped her, she couldn't handle my hotness you see" he laughed

" dream on lover boy" she replied laughing.

" Take that back" he whispered

"No, lover boy" with that she ran away from him, laughing she avoided him trying to catch-up, noticing he was no where to be found she leaned against a tree and rested, jokes aside she still was in fear, fear that someone will hurt her.

Silence filled the woods, nothing was to be heard, carefully she traced her steps back, looking back, afraid someone or something is waiting in the dark abyss of the woods.

Walking faster, she could hear footsteps, gaining speed, almost following her, she started running, those footsteps too ran, before she could make any sound, hands covered her mouth, screaming she pushed the arm and span around, she was facing Aiden, who held onto her waist, making sure she didn't fall while being scared to death.

" What has got into you, its okay calm down" he whispered breathlessy, hugging.

Laughing it of she said, " nothing you just scared me thats all "

Holding onto her he whispered back, " you never know whats in the woods, I thought I lost you again"

" Hold on, what do you mean lost you again, you never did and never will" she shouted while pushing him away.

" Can we just go back, and see how Allison is" she added

He smiled and nodded she too smiled, both made there way back, Demi rested her head on his arm, while he wore the biggest grin.

Taking there time, they walked, knowing Allison will question where they went, they hurried, Allison was no where to be seen, probably still sleeping with Sam, both took a seat and sat quietly, waiting.

Breaking the awkward silence, Demi asked "Are you getting weird messages from random people?"

Taken back from the question he replied, " No why?"

"Nothing" she whispered shaking her head.

" Is everything okay? Its just.." before he can finish his sentence, Allison came behind and screamed, clutching her stomach she fell down laughing from Demi's reaction, Aiden joined to, making a noice similar to a snort and cough.

" Your face, oh my word, do it again, please" she asked through her laughter.

Sighing, she playfully punched Allison.

"Ouch" she shouted.

That made her quiet down.

" So, what are the plans, we're going home soon, well?" Demi questioned.

" Well, what if we play capture the flag, you know like Percy" she asked looking at Demi.

" I'll be with Aiden, you can be with Sam" she continued.

"Sure", both Aiden and Demi replied at the same time.

They looked at each other and smiled.

They all waited few minutes for Sam to be ready, when he was, they started, war.

Allison stepped onto the log and shouted the instructions.

" So the flag is placed somewhere, where I don't know cause I placed it somewhere last night and kinda forgot, anyway we all know the basic rule, wear your bandana either on your wrist or head, so the other team know, now this is this the twist, members from the other team can win either by actually capturing the flag, located somewhere, or take the bandana from them, simple."

With that, she handed each person a bandana at random.

"Now everyone go hide, when I say go the game begins" she paused and looked at all, one by one.

" Also, darlings may the odds be ever in your favour"........
