Chapter 17

OLIVER'S POV

We arrived at the White Moon pack late at night, but this pack is still awake to greet us. They are being incredibly nice to us. Cleo seems to enjoy Alpha Donovan's company because she can't stop herself from laughing. I can say that Alpha Donovan is quite a joker. The first time I met him I can't actually believe that he is an Alpha. 

Most Alpha's are serious and hard to be with because they wanted to be always right. Alpha Donovan is a little bit different.  He's fun to be with and he doesn't think much about his status. When I talked to him before, he said to me that if he had a choice, he wouldn't be an Alpha. For him being an Alpha means a lot of stress. He doesn't want any of it so, He's ready to give up his property to his younger siblings but the two didn't want to share and began to argue to his piece of land. Being Alpha Donovan, who want's nothing but peace, for him and for the other people he decided to just run the pack and make his siblings shut their mouths.

" It's been a long time, Oliver."

Alpha Donovan greeted me. Since I saw that Alpha Donovan is different from other Alpha I told him to drop the formalities and just be my friend. For us, it will be just Oliver and Donovan. No titles, No ranks. He may be a friend, but he doesn't give anything to me for free. He always makes sure I learn something from him. That's the reason why I respected him so much. 

"Yeah, definitely a long time Donovan."

He smiled at me, and then afterwards he became serious.

"I know the reason why you are here. I'm sorry to tell you my friend but I won't hand it back to you easily."

He said in a dangerous tone that is laced with amusement. I knew it, He prepared something for me. He always will. He never got tired of doing this to me. He is Donovan after all.

"I never expected you will."

  He gives me a toothy grin that promised this time will really be a hell. I also gave him a toothy grin that promise I will definitely enjoy every minute of it. His toothy grin was cut off when his Luna pinch his ears.

" Where are your manners, Donovan. It is late at night, and you are threatening our guest. I think they are at least entitled to be led to their rooms and allow them to eat some food and rest."

Donovan wince in pain. His Luna let go of his ears when they are perfectly red. Cleo couldn't control her laugh, so she hid in behind my back and press her face to my back. I can feel her vibrating with control laugh as she tries to suppress them. Meanwhile Aliyah is all red in the face as she controls her laughs from erupting. 

"I'm sorry for that. Please follow me and ignore my mate."

The Luna said to us as if nothing happened. She feed us some food and then she deposits us to our rooms. Cleo and I shared in one room while Jason and Albert shared to another room. Aliyah got a separate room since she's the only girl aside from Cleo. Due to the long travel, it is not long before sleep claim all of us.

The next morning, we woke up when we heard a loud scream. I quickly stood up and run outside behind me is Cleo. We thought something emergency came up only to see Jason, pining a she- wolf in the wall.

"Jason what the-"

"Mine."

Both Cleo and I heard it. Shock registered to my body, but Cleo is smiling. She found it romantic.

" Aww, Stop pining her up, you might hurt her."

Cleo said to Jason. Jason immediately put the girl down in thought of hurting her. After she let the lady down Donovan and his Luna came rushing to us.
