Chapter 19

CLEO'S POV

"Okay, Here's the plan-"

I cut Oliver's word when I put my finger in the middle of his lips.

"The plan is we will fight together till the end."

He wanted to argue about it but I gave him a look that says "no more argument." He just let a deep breath.

"Okay. On my mark the game will begin."

Alpha Donovan said. Both Oliver and I stand in front of the starting line where the fighting will begin.

"3"

"Go!"

Both Oliver and I calmly walk to cross the line. While I'am walking I also get my bow and my arrow ready for an aim. After a few steps a wolf attack us mid air I quickly targeted it's legs and it fall to the ground whimpering. That's good. I still have my skills. We continue on walking again since we know that warriors will continue to increase it's number as we approach the mountain. There's no need running and wasting our energy when we still have a long way to walk.

As we walk, more wolves are attacking. But I leave it all to Oliver. He handled the wolves without even shifting. Now I wonder what he is capable of when I saw his wolf.

"This game is starting to get boring."

Oliver said. I look at him, he just shrug his shoulders. I look again in front of us.

" Why don't we try YOU running, for this game to end fast and ME riding in your back as I shoot this pups."

He look at me and gave me a grin.

"Sounds like a good idea."

Before I can even response. He shifted and now sitting on the ground for me to be able to ride to him. I rolled my eyes. He's like a boy eager to play. I climb to his back.

"Not so fast Oliver, I might fall since I'am not holding."

I reminded him. He run in an average speed. We quickly reach the middle part of the mountain where more warriors are attacking. Each time someone tried to attack us I was quick enough to shoot them with my arrow. Time past and I already loose majority of my arrows. I only have 3 dozens left.

"Okay, Time for the king to fight. "

I said to him as I jump off his back while he's still running. He growled at me, probably because he was worried I will fall and get injured. I rolled my eyes at him. He wanted to do something more with me but he didn't had a chance since more warriors are approaching.

I shoot them again without a care as long as I know they are not badly injured. We continue to advance to where the gem lies. 2 more dozens of my arrows are gone. The only arrows left in me are the one's in my hair. I search for Oliver and in my right side I saw him fighting 6 wolves at the same time. He didn't have any difficulty in there but then one she wolf appeared not in wolf form but in human form. Naked in all her glory.

My mate saw her that cause him to be distracted for a second. Who wouldn't? I myself got distracted. A naked she wolf in the middle of the battle field. Such a disgusting trick.

I let my sword out and I run towards the girl. She saw me approaching. Fear registered in her face. She might saw that I intend to kill her even thought it is a no killing policy.

"N-no. You-"

I cut her off. Aiming my blade in her neck.

"I suggest you get out in front of us before I loose control and decide that no killing policy is not applicable in this game."
