Chapter 4:

~~~Jezebelle's POV~~~
I woke up with a slight headache and I pushed the blankets off me. I stood up, there was a knock on my door, "Jezebelle, Brent and Xavier want you in the office." Alex said and I groaned, "Kay, I'll be done in a few minutes." I headed to the bathroom and grabbed the handle, but jumped back when it covered in black frost and that reminded me of my powers.
I got my bathroom needs done and walked out of the room, wondering what Xavier and Brent wanted me for. I walked into the office and my eyebrows furrowed, "Alex, said you wanted me." Brent was standing next to a chair and a new scent hit me. I growled lowly, "Who's that?" I slowly made my way over to the other chair next to the one with the large male with a black cloak like mine.
Xavier looked at me with a little worry and looked at the man, "This is Jace." Brent looked at me expectantly and I narrowed my eyes, "What does this have to do with me?" The male, Jace, looked at me, "Jezebelle, it's been a while." I shot out of my chair and backed up, "How do you know me?" I growled. Jace flinched and I was even more confused. He stood up and took a step towards me. I growled and he pulled his hood off, revealing his face. His hair was silver and his eyes were identical to mine. He was very handsome and looked a little like me...
I growled again, "Who are you?" Jace looked a little hurt by my reaction to him and he took a step towards me again, "I'm your brother," I stood there, frozen in shock. My eyebrows furrowed, "M-my what?" Jace's silver eyes showed hurt and it pained me to see him like that, for some strange reason, "I'm your older brother," I felt anger boil up inside me and I raised my hands up, shooting black icicles at him.
He made an ice wall in front of him and the icicles shattered. What confused me was that the ice was normal ice, not black like mine. The wall melted and it seemed to disappear. He walked towards me with sadness and pain in his eyes, "I'm sorry for not coming to you sooner, but I had to stay away, to keep us hidden. I had to find you now." I growled loudly, "Why couldn't you have come for me?! I was alone for six years! My adoptive family got ripped to shreds by a rogue and I was banished from my pack the same night! I watched them get killed, and I couldn't do anything about it! They died to protect me!" I felt my wolf inching closer and closer to breaking free. I threw more icicles at him, but he dodged them, "I'm sorry you had to go through the shit that you went through, but now isn't the time to fight. I came here to tell you something, something that is really important." I growled again, "I don't care! I thought I had nobody else! I thought I had nothing! You didn't bother to try and even find me, did you?! I grew up depending on nobody, but myself! I didn't know -"
"They've found us, Jezebelle!" I was cut off by the thunderous growl from my brother. I stood there, dumbfounded, "Who found us?" I could tell he was worried and angry, "The council! They know about us and they want us dead! I came here to protect you! I had to stay away from you all these years to protect you!" I growled loudly, shaking from anger, "Why does everybody want to protect me?! I'm not some fragile, little she-wolf anymore! I can handle whatever is coming!" Xavier boomed angrily, "Enough!" I flinched at his tone and locked eyes with him.
He looked away and growled, "Brent, find Jace a room to stay in." Brent bowed his head respectfully, "Yes, Alpha." Jace looked at me with hurt evident in his eyes and walked out of the room, following Brent. Xavier looked at me and I couldn't read his face, "Can I leave now?" I asked and stood in front of his desk. Xavier shook his head, "I'm not leaving you unattended." He looked down at his paperwork and started working.
I growled lowly, "Why can't Alex just watch me?" Xavier growled, "No, he's busy." I huffed and slumped down into the chair. He didn't say anything to me, he acted as if I wasn't even there. I growled in annoyance, guess this was how I was going to spend my day.
