Chapter 8:
I growled loudly, my body shaking. The larger wolf lunged at me with snapping jaws. I side-stepped and latched onto his throat.
He struggled to get out and I was having a hassle holding on. I slammed him onto the ground, sinking my teeth in deeper. I felt the other council wolf slam into me, making me fly off of the slowly dying wolf.
I stood up, but the wolf sank his teeth into the scruff of my neck, flinging me into a tree. I yelped in pain when my back hit the trunk and the tree cracked.
The breath was knocked out of me and I gasped for air. I closed my eyes, dreading coming out for a run, or at least coming out without someone. I got up on wobbly legs, but shifted uncontrollably, unable to hold my wolf form.
I was slammed against the tree, the council member now in human form, and it was female. Her arm was pressed against my neck and I was struggling to breathe, "Not so powerful now, are you?" She sneered and I smirked evilly.
I dug my claws into her arm, freezing it over. She jumped back, staring at her arm. I made a razor sharp ice shard and stabbed her in the chest, where her heart was. She fell to the ground, unmoving.
I fell to the ground, exhaustion coming over me. I couldn't move, my heart was racing wildly in my chest. My wolf was healing me the best she could, but I could feel my broken ribs and knew that it would take a while for them to heal.
I heard someone running towards me and Xavier kneeled down next to me, "Somebody get Alexander!" He commanded, his voice deep, plus the power dripping off of his words sent shivers down my spine.
Xavier had a large t-shirt in his hands and gently slipped it on me. I felt the exterior wounds on my body heal and Xavier picked me up gently, but that didn't stop the pain in my back and ribs. I grunted, gritting my teeth and held back the scream I wanted so badly to let out. Xavier cooed softly, "You're going to be fine, you're healing, which is good. You'll be completely healed by tomorrow." He laid me down on a stretcher and lifted me into a truck.
I fell asleep and my inside wounds started healing.

Waking up was hard. I was exhausted, but the constant knocking on my door wouldn't stop. I growled, "What?!" I heard a deep chuckle, "You goin to wake up today, sweetheart?" Xavier said, "No," I muttered.
The door opened and I felt the bed dip. Xavier wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me into him and I welcomed the warmth coming off him in waves.
He slowly brought his hand up to my neck and he opened his hand, pressing ice to the back of my neck. My eyes flew open and I squeaked, jumping out of his arms and off the bed.
He burst out laughing and I smirked, "You wanna play that way, huh?" I said to myself and I straddled Xavier. He stopped laughing and his eyes turned pitch black. I kissed up and down his neck and ground my hips against his. His hands gripped my waist and nipped on his mark and a gasp left my lips.
I smirked against his neck and hopped off the bed, going into the bathroom. As soon as the door was closed, I started laughing. Most people would think I'm crazy, but I could care less.

I ran after Jace, "Get your ass over here!" I yelled at him. He stopped at the end of the table and I stopped at the other end.
The reason why I'm chasing my retarded brother is because he bought condoms and pregnancy tests, 'just in case' he said.
He tried darting for the door, but I made an ice patch in front of him, making him fall on his ass. I burst out laughing, "Thats... payback!" I said between laughs. I fell onto the floor, clutching my stomach.
