Chapter 10 - Part 2:
~~~Jezebelle's POV~~~
It felt like my entire body was on fire. My hands were steaming and I was freaking out. What the fuck was happening to me? My breath was coming out in heavy pants and I was pressed against the wall. I started getting dizzy and I could barely breathe.
Was it hot in here? I'm really hot. It feels like I'm standing in the middle of a burning forest.
I look at my hands and I started to see doubles. I hear someone shouting. "Jezebelle! Look at me! Don't freak out, okay? You have to stay calm." I freak out even more.
I can't breathe!
"Hey! Focus on me! Breathe, baby, breathe." I look up and see Xavier's worried and scared face. I try to breathe, but its so hot. Xavier cups my face, but hisses through his teeth and pulls his hands away. He looks at my hands in confusion. I start seeing black dots and my eyes are begging to close.
"Jezebelle! Don't fall asleep! Breathe! Take deep breaths, baby girl! Come on, I know you can do it!" I fight to keep my eyes open. I focus on Xavier and I see Jace standing behind him. They both look panicked. I focus on Xavier's forest green eyes.
I take slow, deep breaths and I feel myself cooling down.
I feel normal again and I look down at my hands. They look normal. Xavier helps me stand up and Jace, Alex, and Brent all look at me with worry. "What happened?" Alex asked and I shook my head. "I don't know. I felt really hot and I couldn't breathe." He just looked at me.
I looked up at Xavier and he was looking down at me. "I think I know what's wrong." He said and picked me up bridal style.
He carried me down to Tasha's cell and sat me down on the couch. "Tell me if my suspicions are correct." He demanded and Tasha rolled her eyes. "You do know that your alpha tone doesn't work on me, right?" Xavier just growled. She grabbed my hand and locked eyes with me. "Try using your ice power, but instead use fire."
"Xavier..." I look up at him in confusion. He shook his head. "Just do it." I closed my eyes and did just that. I felt my body heat up and I started to panic. My hands felt like they were on fire. I started hyperventilating again. My eyes flew open and Tasha held on to me tightly. "Don't panic, Jezebelle. It's normal." I started to calm down.
I looked down and saw a black fire ball in my palm. Tasha nodded. "Just as I said." I stood up and threw the fire ball at the wall, creating a large burn mark in the steel. I cooled down by command and I knew I had the hang of it already. Xavier looked at Tasha. "I was right, again. I'm not crazy, Alpha Conhart. I've told you that before, haven't I?" He just growled warningly at her and we left the cell.

I was target practicing in the woods with Jace for three hours. I was mainly practicing with black fire, since it is a new power. I sensed him nearby me and spun around, shooting a black fire ball at him. He jumped out of the way. "I think you're all set." He chuckled. I looked up at him in confusion. "Hey, how come I have two new powers with more to come, and you don't?"
"I dunno. Maybe they'll come later for me." He shrugged and started back to the pack house. I kicked a rock out of the way. "Have you and Kalyn made up yet?" I asked in curiosity. "Well, she has been sleeping with me for almost a week. I'm not sure if she's accepting me, or if she's just using me so she can sleep." He muttered and I could hear the hurt laced in his voice. I didn't know how to comfort people very well, so I just went with what I could think of. "Well, you never know until you talk to her." I attempted to comfort him. He just smirked. "Yeah, true, I guess." He shoved his hands into his jean pockets and a warm breeze whipped our faces.
