Ranah stood before the council ready to plead her case. This Jedi needed to teach younglings and Padawans. It seemed the only time her head was clear anymore. "We sense much conflict in you Zahar." Master Windu spoke up. "Yes I know, but when I am instructing lessons the conflict goes away I feel clear minded and at ease. This is why I request to have this become my lasting position." Ranah explained with a smile. "Because of this conflict within, suitable that you teach the younglings and Padawan learners the council feels it is not. You could impose dark teachings upon them if careful you aren't. " Yoda spoke up. Ranah frowned, she wanted to argue, but she was in front of the council and she couldn't have a tantrum in their presence . Perhaps she should find Anakin and rant. The Jedi still wasn't comfortable enough to speak with Obi-Wan. In fact she was too scared to reflect on her own feelings towards him. "Thank you for the consideration." Ranah said after a long time. The words were sour on her tongue as she left the council room. Her robes flew up from behind her as she walked down the hall with purpose. She headed towards the Gardens to search for Anakin among the other Padawan learners.
How could the council not see that they were driving her further away from them and into the darkness? All she was trying to do was separate herself from the dark side and the council wasn't allowing her. Ranah felt like she she needed to scream, she needed to spar with someone, she needed to hurt someone, she needed to succumb to this aggression.

Ranah reached the Gardens in no time, her rage growing with every step she took. "Padawan." she snapped at a young boy. "I'm going to teach you a lesson grab your lightsaber. You're going to spar with a real Jedi." Ranah said brusquely. The boy stood up shaking, but he reached for his saber. "Don't be afraid Padawan that leads to the dark side." she clicked her tongue and shook her head. The poor kid had probably never seen a Jedi behave in this way, but it was evident he felt responsible for stopping Ranah. He struck first and Ranah hit back twice as hard forcing him to the ground. The redhead approached him and tried to bring her lightsaber down upon the Padawan, but he was smart. The boy trusted in the force and was able to avoid every blow. This made Ranah even more outraged as she was about to try and strike the Padawan again, but she felt hands around her "Ranah no, what do you think you're doing?!" the voice cried out. It sounded like Anakin. She struggled against his grasp, her body thrashing in every direction as she kicked trying to get away. In the midst of her fit a hand waved across her face and everything went dark.

At first it was all black, the only thing Ranah heard was beeping. Things slowly came into focus, but it was all still fuzzy. The Jedi felt her hand being held, it was reassuring to say the least. It helped Ranah calm down after the vague horrific memories of what happened before. The redhead couldn't sense who was with her, she took a wild guess "Obi-Wan?" Ranah asked. "Sh, you need to rest we can talk later." he responded. Ranah nodded in agreement and closed her eyes again.
The next time Ranah woke up her vision wasn't as fuzzy, and Anakin was there. "Hey." Ranah croaked. "How long have I been out last time I was awake Obi-Wan was in here." she said quickly forcing herself to sit up, only to become dizzy shortly after. Ranah tightly gripped Anakins shoulder to stabilize herself. "Uh about a week. Things were pretty bad. No one knows why you reacted in that way. The council doesn't want anyone to worry so everyone just thinks you're ill. They've had you in a medically induced coma to make the story believable. They also needed time to decide on how to handle this situation, all while eliminating a possible threat. No offense Ran. " Anakin explained which sent Ranah into a panic. She tore her hand away from him and ran it through her hair "A week? Is this council mad? If I've been out a week why are you here? You should be protecting the Senator or training! Is the boy I attacked okay?" she asked frantically. "The council isn't mad. They don't get mad, they're just worried for you and will definitely be watching you more carefully. I'm here because Obi-Wan insisted someone stay with you. Although he's my master and should be training me, he's much more busy than I am. He's tracking something that might lead us to the assassin. Padmè is in the other room I'm still watching over her too. As for the Padawan, he is just fine, a little shaken up, but overall the council determined it was suitable practice for the real world. Doesn't even have an ego about it. Real potential if you ask me. " Anakin reassured, his voice steady and calm. Ranah nodded as she began to understand what had happened, but none of the news helped calm her nerves. "Also, when you begin to feel better Chancellor Palpatine wishes to meet with you." Ranah sighed, anxiety and guilt splayed across her expression, she often made this face while in deep thought. She turned to Anakin with a feeble smile, "Thank you, really. You can go do what you must with Senator Amidala. I'm conscience and will be leaving here shortly no need to listen to Obi-Wan's orders." Anakin smiled back "Good to see you back to normal Ran." he said as he got up and left.
