"The council doesn't like political interference. How are you going to convince them to let me go to Geonosis?" Ranah inquired. "You will not mention me or that you are going to Geonosis. Go speak with them yourself. Ask if you can take time off on Dantooine. They know you are facing many adversaries. I don't think they would deny giving you a vacation." Palpatine reasoned. "And what if they find out I'm on Geonosis being trained?" she asked chewing on her nails. "They will not. Have faith in yourself. You are clever and powerful. A dangerous combination." The Chancellor added. The comment sent chills up her spine, Ranah was only used to hearing words of stature from Obi-Wan. The Jedi swallowed the lump in her throat "I'll speak to the council immediately." she promised and Chancellor Palpatine sent her off.

Ranah was accustomed of the wait time that came along with speaking before the council, but today it felt like she had been pacing outside the chambers for hours. The redhead tried to keep herself distracted, knowing if she began to think deeply into things she would be stuck in her brain all day. The large doors slowly opened and Ranah turned at the sound and she entered. Although she had stood in the middle of the Masters before, this time seemed more nerve wracking. "Zahar, why have you come before us today?" Mace Windu asked. "I would like to begin by apologizing for my actions last week." Windu nodded for her to go on. "Because of those actions, I would like to request a leave of absence so I can go to Dantooine and clear my mind." The Jedi explained. The Council took a moment to process her plea. "Why not Tython? If you wish to become realigned with the light why not go to the home world of our order?" Master Windu continued to question. Ranah didn't prepare for them to question her. She remained silent. Say something. "That's a great suggestion Master, but with all due respect I wish to distance myself from both sides of the force then return to the light when I'm ready." she spoke with conviction. "Valid points you make. Go to Dantooine you will." Yoda piped up. "Thank you." she smiled and bowed her head. "Do you need a ship prepared with a sufficient crew and supplies?" Mace asked. Ranah shook her head "No I can pilot one myself and bring what I need. Thank you again Masters." The redhead bowed again before leaving.

-

Ranah boarded the small ship with nothing more than her lightsaber and the clothes on her back. She had no idea how to pilot one of these things, but she couldn't have a whole crew messing up her plan. From what she had observed while traveling with Obi-Wan and Anakin, she knew how to turn on auto-pilot. Which was all she needed. Once Ranah landed on Dantooine, she would pay a generous amount of credits to anyone who could remove the tracking device from the ship. After all of that was done, the redhead would finally travel to Geonosis to begin her training.

When the ship had taken flight Ranah went to the holocom. The Jedi dialed in the code and waited, eventually Chancellor Palpatine answered. "Chancellor how will I find this Count Docko-" Ranah began. "Dooku." Palpatine interrupted. "Right. How will I find this Count Dooku once I land on Geonosis?" she finished averting her eyes to the ground. "He will not be hard to find. Trust in your senses.  Kill whoever you must to reach him." The Chancellor answered and the call ended. "Thanks for the vague instruction." she mumbled.

Ranah arrived on Dantooine sooner than she expected. The planet was a lot more different than she was used to. For the Jedi, it was either living in the jungle or bustling cities. Dantooine seemed normal. Mostly grasslands and water with a few small villages here and there. She wished there was more civilization, how would Ranah ever find someone to help her with the ship if this planet was full of primitive communities. The redhead must have walked the length of 2,000 speeders before finding a town that might be suitable to search for help. It wasn't as technologically advanced as Coruscant, but it seemed less prehistoric than the previous.

It was there Ranah found a man by the name of Xoan who was willing to help her and for a reasonable price. There was a lot of complaining on the way back to her ship, she wanted more than anything to shut him up, but the Jedi needed him. The redhead boarded her ship while Xoan made the adjustments she needed. Ranah felt lucky he hadn't asked her reasoning. In this moment she wished for at least a droid. The green eyed girl felt lonely. Now seemed to be the first time Ranah realized how much she hated being alone. She lived alone and spends time on her own, but right now this overwhelming desolation felt permanent. The redhead stood up and began pacing. Ranah debated going and yelling at Xoan to hurry. A call came in on the Holocom. "Anakin?" The Jedi asked. "You can't tell Obi-Wan." the boy started. "I'm not with Obi-Wan he's on a mission and I'm on Dantooine." Ranah explained. "What's going on?" she questioned immediately after. "Something's wrong with my mother I need to go to Tatooine." Anakin announced. "What about the senator?" "She'll be just fine. She's coming with me." Ranah sighed "Just be careful okay. I won't tell anyone, but I'm not going to cover for you either." "Okay,Fine. I just wanted to tell someone where we're going in case something bad happens." he said exasperated. "Very wise of you Padawan." she smirked. "You- You stop doing that!" Anakin said sternly then the call ended.

Ranah smiled and exited her ship to check on Xoan. "Is it done?" she asked her feet hitting the grass. "Uh, yes ma'm. I would like my credits now." he said nervously. The redhead raised an eyebrow "Of course." she said then turned to go retrieve them from the ship, but a voice stopped her. "You're under arrest, Place any and all weapons on the ground." The man barked. Ranah didn't hesitate, the chancellor said to kill anyone who stood in the way. The Jedi couldn't afford to be arrested. "Big mistake." she reached for her lightsaber.

The incident was a blur, Ranah felt like it wasn't even herself who had just committed horrendous acts. Was altering her ship illegal? Who were they and why did they want to arrest her? The Jedi didn't want to think about it. Right now her main priority was getting to Geonosis and finding Count Dooku. Once she did that, Ranah could return to Coruscant and be with Obi-Wan and Anakin again. The redhead's ideas were quickly cleared from her mind when the ship made a rocky landing. This was happening, she was here and ready to fix things. 'Okay step 1. Find my new master.'  she thought. Ranah stepped off of the ship and looked at the landscape before her. Perhaps finding Dooku might be harder than she thought.

A/N: Okay this chapter was an actual piece of garbage because I'm horrible at filler chapters and I didn't edit it. I really am trying to finish this story up because I've been working on something really cool (with the help of @anakinswagwalker)  for all of you and yeah. Stay tuned (:
