"Since yesterday you've been behaving weirdly "Mira said breaking my thoughts

I looked at her

"Who !me??"
"No...her!!....yes YOU"she said
"Oh Dylan kissed her"Lexy interrupted
"How did I not know about this!!"Mira exclaimed
"Shush!!!we left in a hurry and I kind of forgot"
"So how's it going??"
"He's asked me to dinner....and God he's gonna cook"I said excitedly

Mira raised an eyebrow....

"Like seriously??....cook??.....the only thing the guy knows is football....."She said
"Hey....you're not sure about that....its not like he's cooked you dinner before"
"I'm just happy your wish is granted....I just hope it lasts longer this time"Mira said sighing

Yeah sure I did hope so too.... I munched on my hotdog and looked at my watch....Shoot.....isn't today going to wind up.....

"Zara"

I almost didn't turn around since most people called me Shayne...but after a few seconds of recognition I turned around and saw Maya walking towards our table...I flashed her a bright genuine smile

"Hey"she said
"Hello"

She waved at my friends....well only Mira bothered to halla back but not Lexy....she had her eyes glued on Maya.....hard and intimidating

"I thought maybe I could snatch you now for that interview"she said
"Oh...of course sure....I've got nothing to do and I'm bored to hell....let's do it"I said cheerily
"W-what interview "Lexy asked me
"Maya asked  me to give an interview about the presidency post"
"The campaign starts tomorrow....what's the rush"said Lexy bluntly
"At least I'll beat Valeria Dominic at something "I said

Yeah....Valeria Dominic was my opponent and she unlike Tori.....was a worthy one.....and she had chances of winning this but we can't let that happen can WE......the more the support.....the more the chances of winning even if its by using a school newspaper....besides I'll just give Maya something to write....and a cover story......I stood up and grabbed my purse

"See you guys..... Later...."I said
"Can't we come??"Lexy said

I wanted to say Yes but then it was Maya's call and before I even looked at her she responded quickly

"No...no..you can't"she said
"Since it kind of concerns the campaign and the post for SG presidency....its important she receives no outside support...we need flawless actual statements from her"she added

Lexy looked at her as if she didn't understand a thing she said.....

"Great"I said

I quickly grabbed Maya's hand and we walked out of the cafeteria before Lexy said something dirty....very dirty and put me in a compromising situation with Maya
So we ended up at the paw print newspaper headquarters..... Just a small room...but organized.... The walls were decorated by articles that broke record sometime ago.....she sat behind a desk and put a tape recorder on the table as I grabbed the chair in front of her.....

"Okay....everything you say will be tape recorded so we won't make any mistakes,add or reduce something you clearly didn't mention we good??"she asked
"A-haaa" I said....excitement building inside me
"Good"

She started recording as she took out her note book....she asked me the important questions....and I answered honestly and truthfully.....I loved how she steered the interview....it was like I was on some 101 show..... She wrote great articles.......as soon as the interview was over .....she walked me out and locked the door behind her
I received a text from Lexy and Mira saying they  had headed home....so that left me with just ME......I drove back home either way....maybe there would be something to do rather than sulk around the school
But going home meant I had  to search for the peace...wherever it was....even if it was under the sink....if Miranda was probably there.....
