Departure

Trust me....there's been a huge debate whether I should come along or not....and it's been a battle itself....I had not prepared for....some were Eager to keep me in the fortress because i will be well protected.... And out of the dark Lord's reach....meanwhile...I wanted to explore...adventure....the danger....I wanted action...I wanted to see what's lurking out there.....so....I won the case.... I was leaving...with Mulan,Morena, Luna , Lucifera and Jay....trust me...AGAIN...it was a greater battle when it came to Jay....he was a skilled swordsman....but human....they doubted he could handle the pressure that lurked out of the fortress.... But with my stubbornness and Jay's decision.... We won The case too....we were leaving in the break of dawn....and I know I'd miss all the fortress had to give....security....services....Lucretia and I had been pretty good friends....she's shy but talkative once she gets used to someone....and I hated to leave her behind
Mulan had insisted we travel light.... So....I took things I could hold on to....my necklace....my dagger....lame wrist watch...and my diary....plus a pen....I was glad to have things from my world....something I was used to....
Lucretia fastened my cloak around my neck after brushing its soft fibre....it was a red one...if it was not uniform...I would have called it sexy...I was in my gear...ready to rock and roll....my eyes had settled finally....and they only had glitters for a change....the new colour also freaked me out no kidding....but...I loved the mystery it put....
I didn't feel like tying my hair up today...I was feeling the floor of dirty blonde hair...what a change in the past few weeks.....

"You're ready" Lucretia said

I turned away from the body length mirror and turned towards her...she gave me my sword...I had fell in love with and didn't want to get blood stained....I got it locked tight on my belt in its decorated with gold sheath....

I carried the small leather bag Fiona had given me and headed out....my cloak swishing on the floor behind me.....I don't know where I got the confidence but it was written all over my gait......I pushed the doors open and there they were.....Luna...Mulan,Lucifera, Jay and Morena....plus Green and Fiona who joined in after wards.....
The air was still moisty ....and I could feel the morning cold on my skin....Lucifera and Luna were the only ones not wearing cloaks...I understood Lucifera's case...she had pretty huge wings to ignore....Luna.... Let's say she appreciates the fact that she's sexy and wants to keep it that way in her cat woman leather suit......our horses were already rounded up.....ready for departure....

"Everything set??"Lucifera asked
"Yes" Luna answered though I'm sure the question was not directed to her

She threw our supplies bag towards Mulan...glad she was the keeper...Mulan caught it and swiftly secured it on her white horse....ironic...Jay ran down The steps hurrying to catch up with us

"Sorry I'm a little late" he said as he flashed me a smile and headed to his horse
....

Just then Selestine came hurrying down the steps in her white court dress
She gave me an encouraging smile as she followed Lucifera

"Master??" Lucifera said obediently
"Are you sure you want to go Luci??" Selestine asked concern in her face

Luci??
Okay.

"Yes, I am"
"You haven't stepped out of the fortress since you were a kid....you've never even been in civilization since you entered the fortress"

Selestine is definitely a caring mother

"I'm ready to face them....you know they can't harm me.....I don't belong to my father anymore.....I belong to myself and I fight for good"

Selestine looked defeated.... She sighed and nodded approvingly

"Stay alive" she said

Why do I feel like Lucifera is her best daughter warrior....was it because she had been rejected once and she had put her under her wing??
