We had witnessed the break of dawn as we traveled....we were all exhausted and for once I was thankful there were no monsters to fight.... No ogres ....the road Dorothea showed us was safe....Barth looked just fine from where he was....I bet His wound had already started healing.... My concerns were not there though....they were somewhere else....somewhere near the dark Lord

"Are there any creatures you know of that reside in the monster's mouth??" Estevan asked
"No.... Not really....many travelers came across ogres plenty of times that's why ogres look like the main inhabitants" Dorothea answered
"Do you think there are others??" I asked

She gave it a thought and nodded

"I do think so......or else it wouldn't have been called the monster's mouth"

Well....that was just it.... I didn't need any more clarification on the subject
We went on moving deeper into the woods.... It was better traveling in day light than at night.... The night was too creepy and the shadows were haunting ...it felt like the branches of the trees elongated like bony fingers that threatened to engulf me.....I was exhausted and I really needed to stretch .....everyone except Luna ,Morena, Estevan and Julian were in deep thoughts.... Lucifera was totally swamped....she didn't even realize she had her wings spread out like an umbrella

"You might want to make a little space for the rest of us" I said

She looked at me confused then glanced up at her humongous fluffy neat black wings
She retracted them and I moved closer

"Thinking about your father??"
"I wonder why!!"

I couldn't blame her....feeling's mutual....

"You don't think he will be able to snatch you this time do you??"
"I don't know" she said with a careless shrug "he sent Marbas to do his dirty work"
"Finding his daughter isn't a dirty work"
"Do you really think he cares about me..... I ,unlike you was meant to cause a destruction to this world....... I have.......darkness.....darkness....that....just makes me as bad as my father.....if I turn.... I'm lost....and I would do anything to hurt anyone"

I kind of felt sorry for her..but then I had that darkness too unless Dorothea lied to me

"You think he brings the worst out of you!?"
"More than that actually.....he just turns everyone into his pawn....and the last thing I want is to be his underdog"
"Have you ever thought for once that he is lonely without you??"
"Lonely?? " Lucifera scoffed "the day my father becomes lonely will be the day all souls beg for mercy"

I see.....I was just trying to justify Lucifer but he was Lucifer...a fallen angel and Satan... He lacks a heart.....

"Are there any streams around here??"Mulan asked
"No..... But there's a river up ahead....the place is safe and we can set camp...." Dorothea replied
"What is safe now days" Luna scoffed

Well...whatever place that was monster and Vlad free was definitely by all means safe....I was eager to get there....my thighs were sore and my skin itchy....I haven't had a bath for days....I will definitely take a bath in the river if I have to....my hair was a braided mess...my face marked with a bit of mud here and there....it's not like looks mattered in this place....the warmth of the sun was like breakfast to me...I just needed to be under the sunlight forever if it will make me feel better....I still had a mystery to solve.... What was Vlad really capable of...was he like me??...a complete evolved Koran who cannot be killed??....I hoped not to see him again but I knew that was impossible... He was looking forward to seeing me again,I could tell....even if it meant during battle....if he managed to find us once... I wonder why he didn't do it again....we left a lot of bread crumbs behind....I had an uneasy feeling that something was up ..I didn't know what exactly but I knew the dark Lord had a plan and when he carries out that plan it will be a big surprise for us...and I HATE SURPRISES..... I bit on my lip so hard that I almost drew blood
