For an ounce of a second I thought it was Luna but then the ground cracked and a rift opened up and the fires of hell reached the surface...
We all stepped back in caution but no matter how far we went back it kept on cracking wider and wider and there was no way across it....it had separated us with the other side of the forest...

Never in my entire life had I ever seen Lucifera throw herself into panic...we were scared but she was having a panick attack. ....Mulan stood by her side to give her the confidence she needed and I knew this was another nightmare of hers only I never imagined it would be getting dragged to hell

Kudos Luci....out of the cracks emerged a hound...skinny and scarry....with long pointed teeth and drool all over with an angry snarl directed at Lucifera
It advanced towards her and both Mulan and Lucifera charged towards it only to receive fireballs in return...
Taking a step back to dodge the balls ...Julian and Estevan had their crossbows ready to shoot...only that when the arrows met the hound's skin they incinerated....it only made the hound angrier
It breathed fire trying to scotch us alive forcing us to jump into bushes for cover...

It lashed its long forked tail at Mulan burning her in the process as she shrieked and flew out of the way leaving Lucifera vulnerable
Wherever it landed its foot the ground cracked...which made it uneasy for us to attack him all at once or we would be swallowed by the fires of hell....
It surrounded itself and Lucifera in a ring of fire....this was clearly their battle....and this fire was not the kind of fire you can get through and get a few burns here and there....this fire would definitely scotch you to the ground
The ground opened up and before we could comprehend trying to look through the fire
We saw the hound wrap its tail on Lucifera's leg....dragging her along with its hideous self....
Lucifera tried to hold on to nothing as she scraped the ground with her long nails
In a matter of seconds she was no longer there
And all the cracks had closed and what remained was a black pitch burnt ground

My throat was dry...my mind raving....my face was hot....a cold tear ran down my cheek...there was no more Lucifera....she was gone....gone....

"We need to get her back" I mumbled

Nobody said anything and I had a feeling I did not make my point clearer

"We have to get her back "I said louder
"How are we supposed to get her back....we are not even sure if she's alive"
"She is alive" I snapped unintentionally "I know it....she's not dead...not yet...we still have time...we could-" my quick breathing gave me no chance to finish my sentence

"I'm sure Lucifera would want us to move on" Luna said calmly
"You don't know what Lucifera wants" I shot back

I hated it when she was too calm

"This quest is important more than any of our lives "Mulan said calmy but gravely
"I'm sorry I don't share your point of view Mulan....."
"What do you suggest we do then....have Luna crack the ground and take the stairs to hell" Julian interrupted
"Sounds like a good idea to me"

He rolled his eyes as he shifted a passed out Morena to his other hand

"It is crazy" Luna said
"Not as crazy as leaving Lucifera behind"

They all stared at a paranoid me.....as if I had grown a third head

"Fine....lets get rid of the dark Lord and we can open a portal to hell if we have to" Mulan concluded

They all looked at me....I was not convinced but I had no choice either....there was something greater coming than a trip to hell to save a friend

"Fine" I mumbled

We went on with the creepy boring journey in the enchanted forest....which made me feel like I was in a concentration camp...

We came to a wall made of tangled vines which had pretty big thorns. ...it resembled the wall of the forest of the silent back at the fortress only this one was more tight...too black and very threatening....and I thought it was somebody's dream and now we would have to cut down this wall using our swords and whose to say we wouldn't get thorned to death
Before we moved... the vines started loosening themselves creating space slowly....light shone through as if it had just been the beginning of a new day....the sun was warm on our faces....and damm was I glad ....it felt like I had been walking in the dark for the past two decades of my entire life....
We passed through and I realised there was no more enchanted forest...only the straight road to the western kingdom
We turned around and there was nothing to gaze at....as if it was just an illusion we were in....there were no tangled vines or anything of that kind only a straight road with many lines of trees at its side
