Girls like girls - Hayley Kiyoko
Summary
Josh has a thing for Tyler, but he's taken.

Josh was in a dismal mood. He'd been riding his bike to Tyler's place through the suburban street leading to it. Josh likes Tyler a lot more than he's willing to admit, which is why he regretted agreeing to come over, but he couldn't say no to Tyler. He knew that Tyler's girlfriend Jenna was there, which put him in a sour mood. He didn't have anything against her. She was alright, but Tyler was amazing to Josh. He just thought that Tyler deserved better.
He let out a sigh, rolling his head back as he pulled into the driveway and left the bike leaning against the wall near the door. He didn't want to be in such a dismal mood the entire time, so he knocked on the door and put on a fake smile.
"Hey. Finally." Tyler greeted him after unlocking the door and the two met each other in a friendly embrace; one arm over each shoulder and a pat on the back. Josh felt weak when he realised that Tyler smelled like strawberries and tobacco. "Jenna's in here." Tyler announced.
Just great, josh thought to himself as he entered the kitchen. Jenna had been leaning against the kitchen counter, a cigarette in one hand and her cellphone in the other. She offered Josh a warm smile as he entered and he returned the gesture, though much less enthusiastically. She moved away from the counter and ran her hand along Tyler's chest as she made her way to the fridge.
Tyler had picked up the cigarette from the ashtray that he had been smoking and pulled a breath before letting an O shaped cloud of smoke escape his lips in Josh's direction. Tyler let out a stifled chuckle as Josh took the cigarette, inhaled the narcotics and blew out a messy cloud. Something cold had been placed in his lap and he looked down to find a beer. Jenna had been holding two more and gave one to Tyler before they shared a brief kiss. She left the two of them at the counter and went upstairs into the house.
"Party tonight. Everyone's gonna get baked, so I'm not sure if you wanna stay," Tyler announced as the bottle cap left the beer and his lips found the tip of it. "I know you don't really like weed, so..."
"It's cool. Nothing better to do." Josh responded dryly as his hands remained on the bottle, too uncertain to open it. His gazes kept turning to Tyler, who had finally turned to look at him.
"Scared of a drink, Josh?" Tyler grinned awkwardly and raised his bottle to Josh's mouth. He wasn't a fan of alcohol, but he did drink occasionally. He placed his lips around the edge as Tyler raised the bottle, letting the cold liquid stir down his throat. Tyler pulled the bottle away and gave Josh a weak smile. "Not so bad, is it."
The corner of Josh's mouth tried to form a smile, but his efforts disappeared when Jenna reemerged.
"Its hot as fuck. Let's go for a swim."

The water was cool and gently flowing flowing against Josh's warm body, and he submerged his head in the water, holding his breath and wishing that when he went back up he wouldn't have to open his eyes to find Jenna behind Tyler with her legs around his waist, kissing his neck.
But she did, and it bothered him.
Jenna left Tyler and moved towards the pile of clothes on the edge where a few bottles of beer had been placed, leaving Tyler alone in the water. Josh sunk his face underwater, pooling chlorine soaked water into his mouth and gently spraying it at Tyler.
