I opened my eyes half way. The bright light stung and my head was hurting.
I was with Ryan. Oh yeah, now I remember why.
"Your awake."
"I always seem to wake up first" he smirked.
I turned onto my stomach to face him making my head hurt more but I didn't care.
"So you remember what happened?"
"Yeah. I had a horrible nightmare."
"What happened?"
"I was in this weird place. Totally lost, and it felt like I was being followed. Then there was a door, it was locked but then it opened and my parents ..." I closed my eyes as I felt tears begin to well up.
"My parents were in there, but the room was on fire." I sniffed. "My uncle pushed me into the fire and I couldn't see my parents. I couldn't get out. I was trapped and the fire was coming and..." I broke down in tears.
Ryan sat up and pulled me into a hug. "It's ok. It wasn't real and I'm here ok?"
"But it was real!"
"No it wasn't don't worry" he was speaking calmly but I was just shouting at him.
"It was Ryan! Some of it anyway!"
"What do you mean? It can't be!"
"My parents died in a fire and it was all my uncles fault!"
He sighed and held me tight. I just cried. All over his shirt. I was a complete mess.
----------
As Ryan lead me out of the tent to where everybody was eating breakfast, the whole scene fell silent. All eyes were on me.
Ryan took my hand and led to to some seats on a log by the fire pit.
"So what was last night?" Asked Carmen.
"It was nothing." I lied.
"Must have been something. I heard you from MY tent!" Said Bailey.
"Just leave it" said Mai Lee. I'm guessing Mike filled her in.
"Why should we? She woke up all up!" Sasha snapped.
"Because it's got nothing to do with you!" Ryan said with his adorable Northern accent.
"I bet she told you though didn't she?" Bailey spat.
"Everyone be quiet!" Mike shouted.
"My head hurts" I mumbled. I stood up and tried to make my way back to my tent but my vision was blurred and I lost my footing.
I fell to the ground before blacking out.
----------
I woke up in my tent. I don't remember what happened but it can't have been good. I remember my nightmare, and I remember everybody fighting and asking about it.
"What's going on?" I asked nobody in particular as I emerged from the tent into the cold outdoors.
"How are you feeling?" Mike asked, turning his attention from something on his shoe to me.
"Confused mainly, and my head hurts."
"You've had another panic attack. You fell and banged your head on the floor but you should be fine. Please just sit down. I'll get someone to pack your things for you."
"Pack my things?"
"We decided to go home early, before anything else bad happens."
"Ok then"
