Disturbing the peas?

I walk back into the dumping ground with Mike and it's silent.

"Where is everybody?" I asked Mike.

"Mai Lee took everyone to the park so you wouldn't be bombarded with questions and crowds once you got home."

"But Mike I'm fine!"

"We just want to be on the safe side!"

"I am safe!"

"Then you'll be happy when they all come back in half an hour won't you!"

I rolled my eyes and walked up to mine and Ryan's room.

Not going to lie, I'm really bored right now. I'm the only person here and I'm in a bedroom alone.

I was stretched out on my bed, staring at the ceiling when a heard a knock at the door.

"Hey Marie, it's Tee and Jody, are you alright?" Tee asked. I got up and opened the door so that they could come in.

"I'm doing fine. It was just stress. So what are you lot up to?"

"We're all going out to the garden to play rounders. You coming?"

"Definitely."

I walked with Tee and Jody out to the garden where everybody else was getting ready to play. Bailey had the bat and ball in his hands and Harry was setting up the bases which were just wooden poles sticking out of the ground.

Mai Lee was also there wearing a cap with a whistle round her neck. I'm guessing she was the umpire. (Is that what it's called idek)

The teams were:
Team 1: Toni, Harry, Bailey, Carmen, Kazima, Jody, Ryan
Team 2: Billie, Finn, Floss, Tee, Sasha, Tyler, Me

We were fielding first. Surprisingly I caught the ball twice, meaning Carmen and Jody were both out.

Then it came to batting. Bailey went first and did really well, followed by Kazima who also did amazingly. Then it was my turn.

I swung the bat and completely missed. Oh well. I started running but Carmen was on third base.

I was about to get to fourth base, to actually score a rounder but obviously, Carmen wasn't going to let that happen considering it was me who got her out.

As I went passed third, she held her foot out which I tripped over.

"What's your problem Carmen?" I cried, heaving myself off the floor.

"Yeah that was a bit far Carms" Tee started "You could have got Marie hurt"

"It was an accident!" Carmen defended.

"Was not!" I spat. "You did it on purpose just because your selfish and can't stand to loose!"

"Really your calling me selfish?" She shouted, coming really close to me in an attempt to intimidate me. I knew everyone was watching the drama, even Mai Lee so I'm surprised nobody is doing anything to help.

"Yes! Carmen Howle more like selfish cowbag!"

"But this is your fault!" You got me out!"

"It's a game Carmen, and that's the point, durbrain!"

"I'm not stupid I know what your doing?!"

"And what is that?!"

"Your here so that everybody does anything for you because your so needy!"

"I'de rather be needy than vain!"

"I'm not vain!"

"And I'm not listening!" I said turning to walk away only to be yanked back by my wrist. I looked down to see that Carmen and I were handcuffed together, and Floss was standing their in a police costume. I should have known.
