Ryan held me hand as he lead me to Mikes car. The sun was just beginning to shine so it must have been like 7:30am. Meaning everybody at the dumping ground would still be in bed for like half an hour longer.

We climbed into the backseat of Mikes car when I realised something. I haven't showered or washed my hair in quite a few days.

Mike turned round to face Ryan and I.

"Marie, the hospital got in touch with the police, they will come round later today to talk to you and they will get your things from Jennifer and Stewart's house."

I nodded and rested my head on Ryan's shoulder, still holding his hand. It felt good, I haven't done this in a long long time.

"Am I still sharing a room with you?" I asked him.

"Yeah" he nodded, the famous smirk returning to his face. "If that's alright with you?" He continued.

"It's what I prefer" I smiled.

----------

We pulled up on the driveway. I felt safe. For the first time in ages.

I looked at the digital clock. 8:34am. Everybody will be either getting up, or eating breakfast in the dining room.

We walked slowly up the driveway towards the front door. It felt weird being back. Kind of like I was new again. I felt a bit nervous actually.

Ryan's grip grew tighter as we stepped into the lobby. The first thing I noticed, was the smell of bacon.

"Marie's back!" Yelled Floss from above us on the stairs. Ryan wrapped his arm round my waist and I put my arm round his torso as everybody gathered round and looked at me.

It wasn't long before the questions began.

"What happened to your eye?" Mo asked.

"Mo?!" Tee spat, nudging him forcefully in the ribs.

"Yeah, what did happen?" Jody asked, receiving a glare from Tee.

"Don't worry babe, you don't have to answer any of their questions" Ryan said to me.

"I'm sure Marie will tell you all in her own time" Mike stated, looking at me.

"I'll tell you in the living room." I said. I wanted them to know because I was forced to go, I'll never forgive Mike for it.

Everybody sat in the living room, gathered round me.

I was leaning on Ryan's chest and he was cuddling me. He was at the house, he saw what it was like.

I could feel tears welling in my eyes as I spoke.

"They were criminals. They used to steal things and lock me in my room without food or water. They beat me if I didn't do exactly as they said..."

"Why didn't you text us?" Asked Tee, sympathetically.

"He drained my credit. I couldn't even if I wanted too. Then he smashed it, and my guitar."

I sobbed into Ryan's chest. Everyone apologised and looked at me with sorrow faces.

There was a knock at the door. The police followed Mike into his office.

"Marie?" Said Mai Lee nodding towards the door.

"Good luck" Ryan said.

"Thanks" I sighed, before going to the office.

Ryan's POV

Marie had just gone to talk to the police leaving me with the others and their questions.
