I woke up in an unfamiliar room. It took me a moment but I recognised it as the living room. Then I saw that I was with Ryan. He was awake and staring at me.

Oh yes, the film, we fell asleep. Now we're here. Got it.

"Morning" he sighed.

"Hey gorgeous"

"Woah. It's to early for compliments like that Marie, my brain can't handle it!"

"And my brain can't handle sentences like that when I haven't even been awake for five minutes!" I said, sitting up.

"You're awake then?" Tyler asked, strolling in as if we weren't ever there.

"No. We're both in a deep sleep and won't awake for a thousand years" I said sarcastically.

"Not too early to be snarky then?" Ryan chuckled.

"Never too early to be snarky!" I smiled.

"Morning guys. Breakfast in ten yeah?"

"Is it bacon?" Asked Tyler to Mai Lee.

"No Tyler. We can't have bacon everyday!"

Tyler sighed and walked out of the room, Mai Lee also went away leaving Ryan and I sat on the sofa.

"So after the film ended..." I started "did everybody just leave us here sleeping?"

"No. Everybody left you there sleeping. I was awake when it ended but I didn't want to wake you up because I know you find it hard to sleep, so Mike said we could just sleep down here tonight."

"Oh right that's....actually quite creepy..."

"What are you up too today then?"

"Don't know. School begins the day after tomorrow so this is pretty much the last day of freedom we're gonna get."

"Tomorrow is freedom!"

"No Ryan. Tomorrow is going to be filled with you lot being stressed over homework that you should have been doing over summer that you left until the very last minute."

"How do you know that?"

"Because Mo made a list of all of his homework assignments and did them all weeks ago. I've never seen any of the rest of you doing any"

"You're right. I haven't done any so I'll be doing that tomorrow. We can still enjoy today though right?"

"That's exactly what I'm saying. Anyway, I'm going to go and get dressed now if you don't mind"

He nodded and I got up and left the lounge. The house was really warm today for some reason.

I walked to the top of the stairs and along the corridor until I reached my bedroom. After getting changed I put my hair into a messy ponytail and began to make my way down to breakfast.

Tee came out of her room just as I was outside the door.

"Oh Marie..." She said, catching up with me and making me stop.

"Yeah?"

"Look at this..." She took her phone out of her pocket and unlocked it. She took a moment before turning the screen around to face me.

It was a picture of Ryan and I asleep on the sofa last night.
"Can you send it to me?"

"Sure. I'll send it to Ryan as well. You look so cute together!"

"Thanks Tee"

I sat down at the dining room table with a slice of toast with jam on it. Personally I think toast is a bit boring but it's either that or cornflakes so you know.
