Three ~ Akira Has Someone He Likes

Standing the crowd of screaming girls yet again, I am shoved around as I wait Akira, like always, to come and rescue me but he sure is taking his time.

The girls started to scream louder when the guys from the night class appeared. Especially with Aido. Somehow I managed right at the front of the crowded girls but still fangirls at my side. At least I can breathe once again.

Aido looks over to one of the girls and points at her "Hey baby, what's your blood type?"

The girl squeals before fainting to the ground and the other girls screaming for Aido to ask 'her' what her blood type was. I rolled my eyes, these girls are pathetic, it is like they don't know they are vampires. But I guess someone of them have has there memories erase and can't remember. Most of them probably ignore it. Me, I keep the fact that they are all vampires in my head 24/7.

Aido eyes reach mine as a smile pulls at his lips, he points his hand at me in a gun shape, when he lifts up his hand pretending to shoot he says "BANG!"

Girls all around me start faint while other girls scream at each other saying that Aido did the 'bang' thing at them. I sigh.

"Hey Ayane" Aido walks up to me smiling "Hows your finger?"

My finger? Oh right had a paper cut and he wrapped a plaster around it. To be completely honest Aido is pretty nice since he is a scary vampire.

I start to answer his questions my name is called out making heads turn.

Akira appears at my side panting "Sorry! I was pulled away from a while. They wouldn't let me leave"

"Ah it's okay" I say

"Ah, you were talking with a vampire" Akira's eyes meet Aido's.

They is a really bad feeling of tension making goosebumps appear on my arms and a knot tightening in my stomach.

"I thought you hate va-" Akira starts until I covered his mouth pretending to laugh.

"Ah we really must be going now, catch you later?" I say to Aido as I drag Akira away from everyone.



As soon as we manage to get away from everyone Akira licks my hand making me shriek.

"That is truly disgusting!" I demand wiping my hand against the school uniform.

"It made you remove your hand, almost suffocated me there" He says.

"Sorry"

"It is fine, your small hands couldn't kill me in a million years" He gives me a big grin. A really clear white one with his eyes shut.

"What did you say?!" I demand lunging myself at him trying to hit him "How dare you say my hands can't to damage!"

Akira laughs as he manages to grab my hands stopping me hitting him any further.

"Why were you so late anyway?" I ask

He drops my hands and runs his hands through his hair "A girl was confessing me and her friends wouldn't let me leave without an answer"

"So... What did you say?" I ask leaning closer to him.

He looks down to me and steps away folding his arms shutting his eyes tightly "I said I have someone I already like"

"Oh? Who is this lucky girl you like" I ask

He blinks "I-It is someone you might know"

"Might? Hmmm" I stop and think for a while. I don't really talk with girls a lot since all of us girls have hardly anything in common. The only girl I can think of is... "Ah! Yuki!"

Akira head drops down with his body like a boulder has been placed on his head "No! It isn't Yuki!"

"But I don't know any other girls" I say.

"Have a big think about it, let's go and get some lunch" He sighs as he starts walking towards the school

"H-Hey! Oi Akira! Tell me!" I beg as I run up beside him walking beside him.

"No way!" He demands.

"How unfair!" I demand.

"It is your fault that you don't know who I am talking about"




Sitting in the dorm I take of my cross leaving it on the desk. I don't think I'll need it. Pulling on my shoes yet again I sneak out of the school to where me and Aido first met yesterday. He was already there standing up waiting for me.

"Hey" He pushes himself lightly off the tree "No books today?"

I shake my head making the noise with mouth saying 'no'. "I thought you would prefer to talk"

"Well I would of talked to you anyway even if you were studying"

"So you won't leave me alone then"

"Never"

"I take that as a promise"

"Obviously"

I smile.

"I like that smile of yours, really and truly beautiful" Aido smiles back at me.

I blush slightly and cover my face.

"Oi, Oi, don't hide your face from me" He pulls my hands away from my face seeing me blush. He gives me a small smile before he caresses my left cheek with his thumb.

"Aido Hanabusa, has anyone ever told you that you are probably the most flirtatious vampire of them all"

He pulls his hand away and laughs "I think I might be known as the 'womaniser'"

"I agree with the people who call you that" I nod once.

"Changing the subject, let's sit" He sits down and leans himself against the tree.

I sit down beside him resting my back against the tree, my hands are clamped together on my lap as I look down to them.

"So, is that 'Akira' guy your boyfriend?" Aido asks.

I shake my head "No, he is like my best friend"

"I see" He says.

We sit there in silence for a while as we look up to the night sky. It is fall of small stars, I can't see a moon yet. Glancing at Aido I see he is thinking hard as he looks to the sky. I wonder what he is thinking...

"Ayane"

"Hmmm?" I ask turning to first him properly now.

"About Akira, before you guys left, Akira was going to say you hate vampires. Is that true?"

I look down, I cannot lie, I must speak the truth "It is"

"Why? Why do you hate vampires?" He asks

"Because, the suck human blood, they can be violent and evil. And... My dad was killed by one. But! My opinion is changing slightly, I don't hate vampires anymore, but, I'm still scared"

"I'm sorry that we scare you and I'm truly sorry about your dad. But there is no need to be scared, I'll defiantly protect you from now on. And I don't think Akira will let anyone hurt you" Aido tells me.

Butterflies fill my stomach. He is going to protect me! "I think Akira thinks I'm burden sometimes. But I already know he'll protect me because he is my best friend"

"You know he likes you right?" Aido asks

I blink "What"
