Chapter Forty-Eight

Skye's P.O.V

I walked down the hill hand in Josh's, the sun beaming down on me we walked towards the beach.

"Where is she ?" Josh worriedly asked.

" I - I don't kn- " I started until we ran into a panicked Ariel.

" Ariel !" I yelled she stopped and briefly smiled. " that son of a fucking bitch when i get my hands on him!" She screamed trying to wriggle out of my grip. Josh removed her from my arms .

" you're not going back there." Josh threw Ariel over his shoulder .

" put me down!" Ariel screamed.

" Ariel calm down, we get it he's a prick but don't let him ruin your holiday!" I said .

" josh you can put her down now ." I sighed. Josh put Ariel down as Ariel straightened out her skirt.

" we're going down to the marina, you can come if you want but there is no way you are going back to the hotel . Ariel nodded,

" I'm not gonna crash your little date, I'll probably just do a bit of shopping or something." Ariel briefly smiled .

" you sure?" I asked her. Ariel nodded. Josh and I carried on walking down toward the marina as it started to get dark. We strolled up finally to the marina there were gorgeous light around boats which lite up the water, it was busy and crowded there was lots going on . I smiled at everything, and most importantly josh. He giggled down at me.

" you get so excited at the most smallest things." He squeezed my hand .

" so what we doing?" I smiled.

" we're going on a boat."

" what ? Seriously?!" I looked up at him.

" yer why do you not want to?"

" of course I do." I jumped up in excitement.

" then let's go." Josh giggled pulling me up onto a boat full of lots of classy and posh people.

" I'm so not dressed for this." I said blushing and looking down at my denim jean shirts and tank top. Embarrassed by the millions of eyes staring down at me.

" don't worry ." Josh smiled kissing the top of my head. " you want a drink?"

" yes please." I smiled following him up to the bar and taking a sip of my drink. Once the boat began moving josh led me up to the deck of the boat there were fancy tables and lanterns that lite up the deck.

" it's amazing." I smiled . Josh smiled back down at me.

" let's dance." I giggled .

" are you kidding , i don't dance, i drum." He joked.

" come on ." I said tugging him over to the floor . Mexico by dave Moissan came on. I laughed up at josh. He grabbed my arm and twirled me around . Then pulled me in closer giving up on the dancing . We stood in the middle of the floor for a while until the boat ride came to an end .

" let's go ." Josh smiled holding onto my waist and walking me off the boat . We began walking back to the hotel from the marina and we walked along the board walk. It was pitch black by that time . As we were walking my attention was drawn to a nearby juggler. I stood for a while watching him. Until i then realised I had lost josh. I frantically turned around in search to find him. Until suddenly he crept up from behind grabbing my waist and throwing me over his shoulder. After a while he out me down i playfully shoved him. Josh grabbed my arm and pretended to topple over the edge .

" josh !" I yelled. Before i plummeted towards him causing us to both topple into the water .

" arghhhhhhh!" I yelled struggling in the freezing cold water . I then felt josh from underneath pull me up to the wooden board walk. He then pulled himself up and began uncontrollably laughing.

" josh your such an idiot." I sulked.

" I'm sorry." He said inbetween laughs. I folded my arms and sat crossed legged beside josh. Josh unfolded my arms and pulled me in closer and kissed me.

" I'm sorry." He grinned. I blushed and smile before we carried on dripping wet walking back to the hotel.

" where do you think Ariel is?" I asked josh.

" not sure." He replied

" let's hope she's not at the hotel." I giggled.
