Chapter Thirty-Four

Skye's P.O.V

I woke up in Josh's bedroom the next morning remember everything that happens last night. I turned to see that Ariel wasn't beside me. I sat in Josh's empty room for a while I grabbed the duvet from his bed and stumbled downstairs into the lounge I sat on the white leather sofa with Josh's duvet wrapped around me. I could smell waffles from the kitchen but I wasn't hungry. Louis and zayn came tumbling in as I was flipping through the channels .

" shit I guess none of us get it." I heard Louis whisper to zayn.

" take it , I wasn't watching it anyways." I said throwing them the remote and wrapping myself up again and trudging down into the basement, I heard Hanna and Liam from in the cinema room and I carried on going down the hall and I stopped outside the music room. I hesitated before I opened the door. I wandered in to the room and just stared at the empty drum kit. I dropped the duvet on the floor and walked over to it. I picked up the two sticks and began playing stand by me the song josh had taught me to play . half way through the song I smashed the drumsticks onto the drums causing the sticks to go flying and I broke into tears I curled up on the black leather sofa and fell asleep for what seemed like ages. When I finally woke up again there was a plate of waffles in front of me as the drumsticks had been picked up from the floor and had been put neatly by the plate of waffles. I sat up checking there wasn't anyone in the room before I began eating the waffles. After I ate them I wondered into the bathroom opposite the music room. I locked the door behind me and looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes were puffy and red from where I hadn't stopped crying . I then wondered upstairs to where everyone seemed to be. I was desperately in need to find Ariel. I needed to get out of this house for the day. I wondered around the house for what seemed like ages until I walked into the dining room were Ariel was sat at the table with a plate with crumbs on it. " oh hi" she smiled standing up from the table.

"Can we go somewhere today" I asked .

" sure ill go get changed." She said smiling and pulling me upstairs with her. 20 minutes later we were ready to go, i was wearing a pair of light denim shorts with a floral top and Ariel was wearing the same but with a grey coca cola top. We walked out side and into to the car. We drove into the town centre not even sure what to do, we paid for the car park and hopped out walking down the town passing shops and restraunts we had no clue where we were going. We walked down a hill till we got to a gorgeous sea front, it was a beach! We raced our way down when we got the a board walk with a bunch of arcades. I suddenly realised a familiar looking boy, it was cally!

" shit Ariel look!" I said pointing to cally standing with a bunch of his friends. Ariel and i stared at the ground in hope he wouldn't see us. I suddenly looked up to see cally standing right next to me he grabbed my arm.

" Skye, i-i am so sorry for the way i treated you at the party it was the fucking alcahol ." He cursed. I looked at Ariel , and gave her a

' did cally just apologise look.' She smiled reassuringly at me .

" I guess where cool." I muttered trying to carry on walking . Cally pulled my arm back .

" can I atleast like by you a McDonald's or something whatever you want." He wailed I looked to Ariel who was grinning even bigger.

" well I do like McDonald's so sure." I smiled following cally into a nearby McDonald's. Ariel ordered a 20 piece chicken nugget meal and i just get some fries with a milkshake. We sat at a tale with cally and ate our McDonald's .

" you urr kind of ditched your friends back there. " I said trying to make conversation and then looking over at Ariel who was to interested in her food to care about conversation.
