Skyes POV
kissed niall as we walked into the door before dashing up into my bedroom where Ariel was. We was both in the room busy getting ready for our party. I sat infront of the mirror I was back combing my hair into some crazy hairstyle to go with the theme of our party. Once I was done I threw it into a bun before tying it with a bow at the top of my head. I grabbed the UV paint and did 2 strokes under my eyes for war time paint, I smiled at my reflection in the mirror. Ariel was sat straightning her hair. I grabbed my clothes before wandering into the bathroom and changing into my distressed studded shorts and black and white crop top. I came in and Ariel had left the room. I brushed it off until I smelt burning, and at that time Ariel joined me back in the room.
"SKYEEEEEE!" Ariel screamed before running over to the mirror. I turned around to see Ariel putting out a small fire.
"Oh my god!!" I screamed joining her and unplugging the hair straigtners.
"Oh my god..." Ariel trailed off.
"Dont worry its out now." I smiled proud with myself
"No Skye oh my god...." She carried on.
"Why do you keep oh my godding?" I turned around. And watched her pick up something from the dresser where her straightners had caught on fire.
"What is tha-" I was cut off by what I saw in Ariels hand
"Oh my god.." I croaked my bottom lip quivering. In ariels hand was the only picture we had as a family, as a family we never took pictures, But I took it on my camera the day before we left to come here, I printed it off when we got here. But now. Now it was gone. It was burnt. A tear rolled down my face.
"Skye don't cry." She whispered.
I ignored her and continued to cry. " Skye im sorry, Im just as upset as you are-" Ariel carrried on whispering
"Just shh ariel. You're obviously not sorry, you never are so just stop wasting your breath." i sobbed and I walked into the bathroom when I heard everybody calling us downstairs
"We'll be down in a minute. " Ariel called down nervously and then flicked her eyes at me.
"Just go." I said to her staring at my reflection in the mirror and removing the smudged makeup.
"They want us down together." She said in a small voice. I swallowed a lump in my throat and sighed holding back the tears. I grabbed my leather jacket and my heels I shoved them both on before leading out the door. I heard a large crowd from the bottom of the stairs and loud music. I breathed out and ariel looked to me. I glared at her, before shoving past her.
"So is this how i'm going to spend my seventeenth birthday skye? my twin sister hating me?" She said her voice cracking. I looked back to her and turned the corner to face everyone waiting at the bottom of the stairs. Cheska was waiting with her camera and I saw Niall smirking. Everyone was hear. I had to look happy.
"Come on girls let me get a picture." Cheska yelled over the music. I nodded before looking oveer to ariel who was wiping her eyes. She joined me at the top of the stairs.
"Smile." Cheska yelled. I breathed in before putting on a fake smile. Ariel did the same.
"Fantastic girls. Enjoy the party." She yelled before dashing off. I marched down stairs to niall I put my hand on his chest and kissed him and he kissed back.
"Happy birthday babe." He breathed. I ran my fingers through his hair trying to act normal as I could. He slipped his hand into mine and he walked us to the drinks cooler. And pulled out to bottles he passed one too me before he drank some of his.
"Im looking forward to later." I smiled. "What are you singer?" I asked eagrly He tapped the side of his nose.
"Dayum you ." I giggled. We walked through crowds of people and every now and then I would get hugged or yelled at sayin "Happy birthday gorgeous girlie." Or "Happy birthday do you want some birthday sex." the party was moving to fast for me too know who it was. But I carried on walking until we got into the main room where everything litrally was glowing it was amazing. I took another sip of my drink and Die young came on and imdeiatly everyone started raving. There were drinks being thrown over our heads and massive baloons were being passed around over the top of us.
"This is actually incredible." I laughed
"No you're just too easy to please." Niall tapped me on the nose. I giggled before we started dancing again, Which was then I realised Cally.
"I'll be two seconds." I smiled before slipping out of nialls grip and making my way over to Cally.
"Helllo birthday girl." He smiled.
"Hi cally.." I trailed off. "Listen I should probably apoligise." I started
"About what?" He asked confused.
"The wedding and the way I was acting and the way I just let you take all the blame for it." I cried he brought his finger to my lips.
"Na listen Skye, Thats in the past and this is the present and turns out this present day is your birthday." He tapped me on the head. "So you need to forget about everything and enjoy yourself." he smiled.
"Thankyou Cally." I smiled hugging him. "Do I not get a dance?" I heard a voice say from behind me. Cally smiled , I turned around to see josh with a beer bottle in his hand. I ran to hug him and Party rock anthem boomed through the speakers. I danced along with Josh as we both sang at the top of our lungs and then the foam began filling the room. By like 15 seconds I was covered in foam. So was josh. He began laughing before tonnes of his friends began throwing him about. I made my way through the foam trying to find Niall.
"There you are." He smiled before pulling me in for a kiss. Loads of people around us was throwin baloons and smearing us with UV paint. I pulled away and from nowhere someone smeared the paint over my lips. I laughed before pulling niall in for another kiss and smearing the paint over his lips.
