Chapter One Hundred and Sixty-Nine

Skyes P.O.V

I breathed in, I needed to make up with Ariel I pressed my lips together and began walking towards her she watched me and I cracked a smile. Until someone appeared.

"Ben...?"I whispered to myself. I watched from the other side of the room, The way Ben grabbed Ariels arm and she tugged away. What was going on?! I rushed over to her and Ben. His and Ariels eyes fell to me.

"Whats going on?!" I spat. Ariel nervously flicked her eyes in between me and Ben. Ben held Ariels arm tightly I watched her try to squirm away. I wrestled bens hand off her.

"get off her, you can see she dosen't want you grabbing her like that." I said angrily. Ben let go and swung his arms down to his side. He glared at Ariel. I looked to and from them. Worried about what was going on.

I held onto Ariels shoulders. "Ariel whats going on."

"Ben-" She started mumbling, Ben shoved me to the side and brought his face millimeters from Ariels.

"Don't you dare fucking tell her you little bitch." Ben spat. Ariel pressed her lips together, A tear rolled down her face. I wiped it away.

"Ariel dont listen to him, tell me ." I whispered. Ariel warily shook her head.

"She's not going to tell you-" Ben smirked before I turned and shoved him.

"Do you want to like fuck off?" I snapped. Ben backed into the wall.

"Skye, i'm not scared of you." He laughed. I shoved him again causing him to topple a nearby vase over.

"Now look what you've done." He said laughing down to the smashed vase.

"Fucking leave, me and my sister do not like you. and the majority of the people hate you here and nobody wants you hear. Now leave." I spat. Ben stood upright again and laughed down to me, that was when I realised he was alot bigger then me. I back nervously into a person standing behind me.

"Now you're the scared one aren't you collins." He chuckled down to me. Luckily at that point Niall and Josh had realised Ben was here. Ben nervously looked to an angry looking Niall and Josh.

"Im giving you 5 seconds to leave." Josh smirked. Ben didn't move he tried to keep his cool. "4....3....2...1" Niall called out.

Ben remained where he was, Niall and Josh looked to eachother. Josh grabbed Bens collar and shoved him up against the wall.

"Listen mate. " Josh spat behind gritted teeth. " I could embaress you infront of all theese people by taking you down or you could simply just leave."

Ben looked to everyone staring at him including Florence who was trying to avoid ben. He looked to Ariel who was wimpering before he marched out of the house. I smiled at Josh and Niall and went in too hug them both.

"Thankyou." I smiled to both of them,I then turned on my heel to Ariel who was standing in the corner. I smiled to her and held my arms open she padded over to me and burried her head into me. I pulled away.

"Ariel Im so sorry, about everything you're the best sister anyone could ever ask for and Im so happy I havn't lost you. I was too close to losing you and I dont want to. I shouldnt of flipped at you earlier I am so sorry." I choked down my tears.

"Im sorry too skye." She said hugging me again.

"So what was Ben saying?" I asked nervously

"Well he asked me to make out with him to make florence jealous, he said it was his birthday present." She said tears flowing from his eyes again

"That sick bastard, How dare he think he can just use you like that." I said angrilly.

"Its fine Skye he's gone." She smiled. I nodded before being joined by Paul and Cheska.

"OK PARTY OVER PEOPLE." Cheska called out. Looking at her house, looking at her floors been stained with god knows what and smashed ornaments and rubbish everywhere.

"So sorry Cheska, we will clean everything and pay for all damage." I cried.

"Girls its a party, the damage was far worse at josh's eighteenth."Cheska said looking over to Josh who grinned.

Once everyone had piled out of the room, everyone gathered in the living room. Me and Ariel walked in to see two cakes light with 17 candles and a few wrapped up presents.

"Oh my god, Cheska, Paul you honestly didn't have to." I started,

"Oh girls please, you're practically family." She smiled. Niall came in from behind me and sat me down on the sofa and everyone else piled in sitting around. Niall and I sharing one sofa , Ariel and Harry on one, Paul and Cheska on the other. Josh sat on a bean bag and zayn, Liam and louis sat on the floor with Jay. Everyone began singing happy birthday, Louis even got Jay to clap his hands and attempt to join in, once they had finished singing we blew out the candles. I smiled hapilly along with Ariel and I made my way back to the sofa snuggling in to Niall. He ran his fingers through my hair and I looked up and smiled.

"Okay before we go on. I just want to say i'm sorry I ever doubted you boys. you are all amazing." Paul chuckled. Niall held out his hand and I high fived him.

"So no punishments for Harry and Niall, Even though you are breaking the rules we are going to let you off." Cheska smiled.

"Okay present timeee." Louis yelled, He threw a parcel to me and then one to Ariel, it was something quite soft and it was basically covered in tape. I managed to unwrap it and inside was one of my scarfs. I looked over to Ariel who also had one of her own pieces of clothing in her hand.

"Louis...?! This is from my room?!" I cried.

"Well atleast that way you will like it." Louis smiled cheekily.

"Thanks Lou." I smiled.

"Thankyou." Ariel giggled.

"Its alright babes." Louis looked up proudly.

Cheska rolled her eyes. " Okay zayn..?" zayn nodded, and pulled out two small wrapped up giftshe gave one to me and then one to ariel. Inside was a few cosmetics that Madison had obviously picked out.

"Its from me and maddi." He mumbled. I smiled at how he called her 'maddi'

"Thanks Zayn." Ariel and I both said in unision.

"Okay here you go laides."Liam smiled passing both me and Ariel envelopes in the envelopes were $30 gift card at MAC cosmetics.

"Awww thanks Liam." I smiled sweetly.

"Thankyou." Ariel giggled.

"Josh..?" Paul insisted.

"urm okay, well heres yours Ariel." He said passing her a wrapped up gift. She opened it, it was a CD

'it's all the songs like played today, i burned it up in like five seconds so it will probably be shit but yeah' he mumbled. Ariel gave Josh a quick hug and thankyou, i could see she loved you the present. Then Josh turned to me handing me a small box, I slowley opened it and inside was a small silver heart necklace. It was a locket. I opened up the locket, to see a picture I had posted on instagram of me and Josh back when we were dating. It was back in Greece, The day we walked around the park and he had poked flowers into my hair and brought me ice cream before smearing it over my face, On the Other side was some text. It said, "Life, isn't perfect but every second with you is.." I smiled and looked up to him he was staring to the ground. I got up and wrapped my arms around him.

"Thankyou Josh." I whispered.
