Chapter Twenty-Two

Ariels POV

'So you where saying?' i said to Josh

He gave me a confused to look 'About the Rowan brothers?' i jogged his memory

'Oh right, there names our Joey and Cally, and there complete dicks okay?' he warned us

I nodded go on 'Well you see i used to date this girl her name was Aria and she was just perfect' i shot Skye a look but she didn't seem fazed, Josh continued

'Anyways one day i walked in on her and Jason, well you know... so i got angry i pulled Jason out onto the street and started beating him up, that's when Cally came into it, it was two against one and i ended up with a broken leg and fractured rib cage. The worst part is they used to be my best friends' he finished looking at the ground. I gasped no wonder he didn't want to tell us, that must of been horrible

'God they're such pricks!' I spat, Skye nodded in agreement.

'There's more' he lowered his voice now even though the boys where at the end of the garden

'I'm guessing Harry spoke to you about Florence right?' Josh whispered to me

I nodded

'Well that's because they used to date, and Florence is the Rowan brothers little sister' he told us. I gasped,

'So just be careful who you go around slapping from now on okay?' He told me, smiling. I nodded

'I promise' i giggled. The rest of the boys came to join us then

'You guys wanna come inside and get dried off then?' Zayn laughed. We got up and followed them inside and i managed to get Harry alone.

'I know why you asked about Florence, Josh told me' i whispered

He looked down guiltily 'I know her brothers did terrible things to Josh but she was lovely' he mumbled

'She was a bitch to my sister!' i hissed

'She was nice when we dated?' he shot back

'and when was that?' i asked

'I broke it off a few days ago' he mumbed

a few days ago? oh my god. i'd figured it was ages ago 'W-whwat?' i asked him barely able to get m words out. He shrugged

'So you kissed me while you had a girlfriend?' i practically shouted at him but it came out as more of a whisper

'When did i i kiss you?'

'In the cinema room when you decided it would be funny to give me a panic attack in the dark' i scowled

'No I didn't' he spoke looking directly into my eyes, i knew he had he was just saying it to make me feel stupid

'Good because i don't want anything to do with you' i spat before leaving the room and going up to my room. Urgh he was infuriating, he was being so nice and out of character when he took me to breakfast this morning and now hes back to the old sulky Harry. I rolled my eyes i'd only been here a few days and his emotions changed so much it was practically giving me whiplash. Suddenly i heard my phone ring next to me.

The number was unknown

'Hello?' i spoke nervoudly

'Ariel? Is that you?' i heard a boys voice speak back

'Yeah who's this?' i replied

'It's Ben, i need your help. I'm in trouble' i herd him whisper back.
