Chapter Fifty-Seven

Ariels POV

i shot Jamie a suprised look when i realised he was next to me before subtly hitting Harry, hard in the stomcach which he grunted back slightly painfully in response

'Hi Jamie!' i smiled still slightly shocked

'Hey Ariel! Guess you could give me your number now huh?' he smiled at me, turning around to properly face me.

'Sure, pass your phone, i'll type it in' i smiled back. As he turned back to grab his phone i took the chance to risk a glance at Harry. He was sitting still face forward, his face completely blank but his hands where gripping the arm wrests a tad too tightly. I looked away nervously, Jamie handed me his phone and i typed my number in before handing it back hasitly

'i'll text you' he smiled winking, thankfully harry didn't notice and i just smiled and nodded polietly. He turned back around and i turned in my seat to face Harry.

'Harry!' i whispered sadly, he turned to face me, his eyes blank

'What?' he replied

'What did i do' i said sadly, playing with my hands in my lap

'You obviously like him' he mumbled. I looked at him, my eyes widening shocked. Did he really think that? My jaw dropped

'W-w-whwat? you don't seriosuly think that do you?' i asked shocked

He shrugged, his jaw tightening 'Well you do, don't you' he said

I shook my head furiously

'H-h-harry, i like you' i smiled at him, he seemed to weaken then

'I like you too Ari, sorry i was being so jealous' he said before leaning in and kissing me, it was broken short by phone loudly going off next to me. He pulled away sighing

'Who is it?' he asked me as i clicked open my phone

'Ur...Jamie' i muttered.

'You've got to be kidding me' he rolled his eyes before sticking in his headphones. I sighed and opened the message

From: Jamie

Hey, hope i didn't mess up stuff between you and your boyfriend xxx

I replied quickly

To: Jamie

Hello! you didn't mess anything up and he's not my boyfriend aha xxx

I waited a few moments before my phone went off again

From: Jamie

Good, i'd like to see more off you, want to hang out some time when we get back to Cali (: ? xxx

I hesitated to reply now, did he mean like a date? No of course he didn't, he knows i liked Harry. I looked over at Harry then but he was looking blankly out with window. I bit my lip and sent a hasty reply

To: Jamie

Sure i'd love too! when and where aha?xxx

I jumped up to go to to the toilet quickly.

Harrys POV

I shoved my headphones in, i couldn't look at her anymore or i'd cry. I was going to ask her if she'd be my girlfriend but that prick interuppted and she obviously liked him enough to reply and ignore me. I rolled my eyes and stared out of the window. I had no music on i just wanted to make myself apear busy and not so pitful next to her. Why did i need her more then she needed me, it pracitcally killed me to see her sitting with him in that bar and now she was flirting and giving him her number and i could hear her typing on her phone next to me, probaby flirting back with that prick. Suddenly i felt her presence leave from next to me and i waited a few moments before glancing next to me to see she'd gone to the toilet. I was about to turn back to the window when i saw her phone flash on her seat. I gulped before looking around and picking it up quickly, i knew what i was doing was wrong but to be honest i really didn't care, i would do it again. I scrolled through her messages from Jamie. I threw the phone back on the seat. That bastard, he obviously liked her how could she be so naive not to notice that, and she probably liked him to be honest, he was just her type wasn't he, he fucking came from California, they would have all this shit in common. I felt sick i couldn't think about this anymore. I closed my eyes and laid back on the seat.
